Hawley is in Pennsylvania, not New York
editI changed the location of the setting of the film in the article from New York to Hawley, Pennsylvania, as it is an actual borough in northeast Pennsylvania along U.S. Route 6, and for three other reasons:
The cars bore Pennsylvania inspection stickers from 1984 and 1985 [1][2] as well as Pennsylvania license plates of the era,[3] and no New York police car would bear a decal of a keystone, Pennsylvania's state symbol, as shown on the Hawley police cars in the movie.
