Merge

There is no purpose of this article. In my opinion, all content should be merged with Dodge Caravan. There are not sufficient differences between these vehicles to justify all this duplicate text. --SFoskett 14:46, 9 February 2006 (UTC)

There are plenty of sufficient differences, because they are separate cars, they say different things too, Its not like the Chevrolet Astro and GMC Safari where it was simply copy & pasted from one to the other Let them grow by themselves -Bavaria 19:41, 11 Febuary 2006 (UTC)

They articles are staring to go their separate ways and I beleive we should let them grow and expand. If you recall there already was an article entitled Chrysler Minivans but it was split up because the Plymouth Voyager, Chrysler Town & Country, and Dodge Caravan are "Different Cars". -Bavaria 19:40, 12 February 2006 (UTC)

I think a good rule of thumb regarding this issue is that when two or more vehicles that share the same platform have "sufficient" mechanical and asthetic differences, they merit seperate articles. Take the Pontiac Sunfire and Chevrolet Cavalier for instance (each have their own article). They not only share the same platform, they generally have even less mechanical differences than did the Plymouth and Dodge minivans. Therefore, it would be wise to keep this article split. There is no good reason to merge the articles. Its not like ones a stub and the other's a full article. there both full article's! They both have a rich, diverse background. P.S. Should they be merged? or kept seperate?

I think they should be kept seperate. I feel this way because, although Voyagers as we know them most commonly, are identicle to the Caravan, they weren't always. The Voyager started off as an entirely different vehicle (a full sized van back in the mid 70s), and as such, should be kept seperate. This is just what I think. If "Voyager" is going to be merged into Caravan, then create a seperate article for the 1st Generation Full Size Voyager, kind of like what was done to the Town & Country article (which has a seperate article for the original T&C car). I say keep the separate. The earlier Plymouth version and the Chrysler Voyager are a lot alike but they're not mechanically the same. Ajaxspray (talk) 05:11, 7 May 2008 (UTC)

I also vote for keep separate though perhaps moving Chrysler Voyager in would make sense. The primary should remain Plymouth because it was in production far longer (unless you count European versions -- which were always Chrysler Voyager.)Davert (talk) 13:41, 13 June 2008 (UTC)

RARE Expresso badge

This is a call out to all those who currently own, or know of someone who owns a fourth generation Plymouth Voyager or Grand Voyager with the rare Expresso grille badge. This is not the regular Plymouth blue & silver or grey & silver badge. This "Epresso badge" consists of two or three silver lines on a black circular background. This RARE grille badge has only been seen on the fourth generation Voyager/Grand Voyager. There are no documented photos on the internet. New Article

I merged the Plymouth Voyager & the Chrysler Voyager together in a new article entitled Plymouth Voyager & Chrysler Voyager. Check it out. It has the same content as both of the pages. I am currently trying to have the two seperate pages deleted. Post your reasons that the two articles should be deleted here, so we can get rid of them. The new article is listed at AfD for the reason mentioned above. See Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Plymouth Voyager & Chrysler Voyager. Additionally, you tagged both existing articles for AfD's without listeing them. Title

I've reverted back to the non-slash title. Slashes should not be used as that will make redirects out of both main articles. If the title is misleading, I suggest a title such as Voyager (car) to cover both the Grand and the Plymouth versions. hbdragon88 (talk) 19:09, 30 December 2008 (UTC)

Chrysler Voyager until 2007 or until 2004 available in the US?

Here in this article it says that the Chrysler Voyager was renamed to Chrysler Town & Country in 2004.

The Chrysler Voyager was sold in the US from the 2000 to 2003 model years, then sold as the short-wheelbase Town & Country in the 2004 model year, and then dropped from the US market altogether. 2004 was the last year of a short-wheelbase Chrysler-brand minivan in the US. This is false. The short wheelbase Dodge Caravan and Town and Country minivans were both available through 2007. The Chrysler Voyager was discontinued earlier. 842U (talk) 16:24, 22 January 2009 (UTC)
