- Thanks for posting this it should be really helpful. You are right that the page needs reorganizing and I'll try to work on that. ThomasEdistar (talk) 20:55, 23 April 2016 (UTC)
Thanks.I have also created a template for the Economy of Maharashtra. The problem is finding time to search for and reading reliable sources.Jonathansammy (talk) 17:14, 26 April 2016 (UTC)
- Right makes sense. Should there be a history section? Since that's most of the article right now ThomasEdistar (talk) 17:53, 26 April 2016 (UTC)
The state has been in existence for 56 years only. What should be the cut off date for inclusion of material under history and not under contemporary politics ? Jonathansammy (talk) 21:19, 26 April 2016 (UTC)
- Fair enough, I guess it's all fairly contemporary. --ThomasEdistar (talk) 00:39, 12 May 2016 (UTC)

Marathas
editWhat's this nonsense about Marathas being the "most dominant political force," as if other communities don't have a voice? Why don't you guys mention the caste of the CM and the respective chiefs of SS and MNS? Why should you focus so much on a particular caste here? Why should caste matter at all in a page about Maharashtra politics? If it does, then why only one caste? Are they all from a different planet or what? Have you guys lost the plot? You think the government works only for the Marathas? You've spewed the same garbage on all Maratha-related Wikipedia articles. This is so misleading. Stop it, please. Seems like they've all edited by some paranoid Maratha lunatics. This is why pages mustn't be open to vandalism, particularly the India-related ones. It will always be bastardised by some crazy ethnocentric rustics, and it will never be brought to the attention of the admin. Chippy pest (talk) 13:18, 7 April 2019 (UTC)
