• Comment I have just added 2 English sources. Neither are capitalized, but we do not have to have a proper noun name. House of Lords discussion of "Bundestag police unit" captures the English sense better than "Bundestag police force" (the other source), since "force" suggests some kind of remit outside the Bundestag, wheras "unit" suggests limits to their remit to inside the building. Bundestag Police with caps suggests Bundestagspolizei is a proper name, but it looks like just a common noun description. So Bundestag police? In ictu oculi (talk) 04:16, 9 September 2012 (UTC)

• Comment – Polizei is a disambiguation. We have Autobahnpolizei, Bereitschaftspolizei, Kriminalpolizei, Schutzpolizei, Wasserschutzpolizei, etc., which tend to support Bundestagspolizei, as a simpler, more common name than the current Polizei beim Deutschen Bundestag. The Deutscher Bundestag site uses both, with the common name in the title and the formal name in boldface—"the federal police" and "the police at the German Bundestag", respectively per Google Chrome translation, so maybe the current title should be used for disambiguation. Supporting WP:ENGLISH, we have Bundespolizei, which DABs to Federal Police (Germany) or Federal Police (Austria). Wbm1058 (talk) 12:30, 18 September 2012 (UTC)

Title

I don't really like the title "Bundestag police". What about "Police of the Federal Diet"? Or "Police at the Federal Diet"? Any comments? -- 2001:A60:18EE:1100:344C:B8B3:A4AE:A13C (talk) 13:39, 27 October 2012 (UTC)

Just saw these discussion here. The rational for my move earlier on was that the police also refer to themselves as Parlamentspolizei [1], which translates as (German) "Parliament Police". I have not seen much evidence that this English translation "Bundestag Police" is widely used. Mootros (talk) 09:48, 21 February 2013 (UTC)
