Although the Popular Socialists were a small party, they represented an important ideological current in the Russian narodnik movement, and members of the party played a role in the Revolution of 1917. Anyone who is interested in the history of Russian populism, socialism or the February Revolution is likely to come across references to them, either on Wikipedia or elsewhere, and it would be too bad if they could get no information on them here.

Deleting the Popular Socialists would be a bit like deleting the Mensheviks, who were also numerically rather small in 1917. Chastra (talk) 21:59, 11 February 2011 (UTC)Reply
