Plot is too long
edit@Hagoromo's Susanoo: and @Alexahepha56: -- Please read the Wikipedia guideline for creating a plot summary at WP:TVPLOT. A plot section only summarizes the core storyline but does not include scene-by-scene breakdowns or analyses. A prose summary should not exceed 500 words. The current summary is more than 5000 words long -- and growing daily. This goes against Wikipedia guidelines and needs to be cut down. For an episodic series, you can also create a table using {{Episode table}} and {{Episode list}} (such as seen st State of Affairs) which would include brief summaries of ~100 words per episode. I have removed the plot as it currently stands and placed it below (see extended content) so that it can be used to create a new and proper summary. For the time being, I have reverted the article's plot section to a version from March before the start of these massive additions -- which, although still long, is more in line with Wikipedia:Manual of Style/Television. Please do not restore it. Rather, edit it or create a new one. If help is needed with adhering or understanding WP guidelines, Wikipedia:WikiProject Television is a good place to request help. — CactusWriter (talk) 16:04, 2 June 2018 (UTC)
- Because this television series appears to be a soap opera (22 minute daily episodes), trying to create a daily summary will soon overwhelm any page. I suggest following the example of other developed soap opera articles like The Bold and the Beautiful or As the World Turns which do not attempt plot summaries but rather an overall premise. — CactusWriter (talk) 16:32, 2 June 2018 (UTC)

Around 350 BC, the Pauravas are living a prosperous life and India is known as "Sone ki chiriya"(The Golden Sparrow), because of its wealth and riches. Meanwhile, a trader Darius III and his confidant Muashiz arrive in the Paurav Kingdom to trade with the Paurav Kingdom, with a hidden motive of introducing the Persian goods in the trade and gradually smuggle Bharat's wealth and take it back to Persia, as well as secretly enslave their citizens and smuggle them to Persia. Owing to rivalries between Paurav Kingdom and Takshashila an annual competition is held to settle the conflict of the control of the frontier Jhelum river and its trade, in which the Paurav win. Later the Paurav attack Takshashila. The King of Pauravas, Bamni offers that the Princess of Taxshila, Anusuya to marry him in order to establish peace. Anusuya agrees but it is later revealed that Bamni had taken revenge for his brother, Amatya Shivdutt's humiliation by King of Takshila, Ambhi and thus leaves Anusuya. But things get sorted out and Bamni & Anusuya unite. Meanwhile, Darius III and his confidant Muashiz keep plotting in order to make business relations with Pauravas, and finally rule them, but Anusuya stops him. So, Darius teams up with Ambhiraj to humiliate Bamni in front of entire Takshila and Ambhi blackmails Anusuya to cut Bamni's hair in exchange for Bamni's and her unborn baby's lives. Anusuya does that but does not know that the knife she is using has poison. Bamni faints and a war breaks out between the Paurav and Takshashila, and Ripudaman, Shivdutt and Samar Singh safely manage to take out Bamni from the battle. Anusuya forces her brother to stop the battle and returns to the Paurav camp to see Bamni. Shivdutt blames Anusuya for betraying Bamni and tries to kill her but she is saved by the commander of Pauravas, Ripudaman who knows the actual truth. In the chase, Anusuya gives birth to the baby inside a well. Shivdutt pushes Anusuya and her baby, Purushottam into a waterfall and both are presumed dead. But Ripudaman manages to save the baby and is successful in leaving Paurav Kingdom along with his family. Meanwhile, Darius makes a trade deal with Bamni and starts a trade between Persia and the Paurav kingdom Ripudaman raises Puru in the Dasyu Kingdom. After 20 years Puru loots a Persian ship which was taking slaves from Paurav Raj to Persia and rescues the slaves. After the Dasyu Queen refuses to keep them, Puru ventures to take them to the Paurav Kingdom. Eventually, Porus is unable to ensure their safety there and later sends Sumer, the Dasyu Prince to send them to Magadh. After this Porus disrupts the ceremony of the now Shahanshah of the Persian Empire, Darius III's arrival in India and also meets Bamni. Sumer, however, returns to look for a precious gem but gets captured. Meanwhile, a competition takes place between the Persian Empire and the Pauravas in which Puru, who has come to rescue Sumer, fights on the behalf of the Pauravas and wins and finally discloses his identity. Hasti falls in love with Darius's daughter and follows her and gets caught by Darius and Hasti discloses about Puru's identity to Darius. Shivdutt catches Puru and blackmails him to trade Sumer for Anusuya by torturing Sumer. Puru reluctantly agrees to give him Anusuya. Meanwhile, Puru fails to rescue Anusuya and talks to Bamni, who tells him to go away from the Paurav kingdom. Kanish tries to kill Puru and stabs him in the back but fails. Meanwhile, Lachi comes to aid Puru. Meanwhile, Darius kidnaps Anusuya, where she remembers her entire past and Darius' daughter, Barsine befriends Puru and treacherously tells him that the mad woman is Anusuya and that Bamni has kidnapped her. Puru presumes Anusuya dead when he sees her unconscious and assumes Bamni has killed her. He challenges Bamni on the day of Shivratri and the battle starts. In the battle, despite being unarmed, Puru severely wounds Bamni and almost is about to kill him. Meanwhile, Ripudaman also reaches Paurav Kingdom and along with Laachi, finds Anusuya. They fight their way through Shivdutt and his soldiers and Anusuya stops the battle between Puru and Bamni and informs Puru that she is his mother and Bamni is his father. Anusuya again becomes the Queen and Puru/Porus becomes the Prince of Paurav Kingdom. Now, Porus starts plotting against the Persians in order to bring their truth to Bamni. He secretly burns a Persian market by concentrating sun rays with glass. The people get scared of the Persian glass and finally, Bamni orders to stop all glass-related businesses in Paurav Kingdom and asks Darius to send all the glass back to Persia. Meanwhile, Porus befriends Barsine in order to know Darius' secrets and learns about a Persian base north of the Paurav kingdom. A mysterious archer attempts to kill Puru and wounds him but Puru survives and the archer escapes. Puru arrives at the base and together with Laachi manages to defeat the Persians there. The archer again tries to attack him but gets wounded and flees. Meanwhile, the festival of Holi starts and Hasti goes to Bamni and apparently pledges allegiance to him. Puru loots a Persian ship which was taking the gold to Persia and gives the gold to the Dasyus. Meanwhile, Hasti is going to kill Kanishk but is stopped by Anusuya. They duel but Hasti manages to distract Anusuya and go away. Hasti stabs Kanishk and is about to kill him when Puru stops him. Kanishk is wounded but survives. Puru goes after Hasti and after beating him in a duel is about to bring him to Bamni but after he hears and sees Pritha's sadness, vows to her that he will not let Ripudaman's family be harmed. Back at the palace, Puru claims that he was the one who stabbed Kanishk and told Hasti to monitor him. Kanishk, who had seen Puru before he fainted, also thinks and tells Bamni that Puru was the attacker. Reluctantly, Bamni tells Puru that he will stay in prison without any provisions and will receive 50 stripes. He also tells him that if Puru will not be able to prove himself innocent, he will be publicly executed by hanging. At his trial, Puru tries to convince Bamni and tells him the Persians are behind all these plots and are smuggling India's wealth to Persia. However, Darius manages to convince Bamni and Puru is sentenced to death. Puru is taken to the gallows while people call him a traitor and is about to be hanged when he breaks the rope and his shackles. Bamni sends his soldiers to attack Puru but Puru manages to defeat them with the help of Anusuya, Laachi and the mysterious archer who attacked him earlier. He then throws the gallows towards Bamni and his advancing army and flees. Meanwhile, Puru unmasks the archer who was following him and the archer is revealed to be Ambhikumar, the son of Ambhiraj and nephew of Anusuya. Puru, Ambhikumar and Laachi decide to go to Takshashila whereas Anusuya stays to convince Hasti and turn him against Darius by revealing to him that Darius was the one who killed Ripudaman. Puru arrives at Takshashila where Ambhiraj tells him that he will hear his offer only if Puru can defeat a wild bear. After Puru defeats the bear, Ambhiraj hears his offer and agrees to give Puru his army's help against the Persians. Pur saves Ambhiraj's life when a tornado comes in the Jhelum river and successfully manages to cross Jhelum and takes Ambhiraj and his army to the Persian hideout. Darius bribes the royal priest of the Paurav kingdom into telling Bamni that one week later an ominous day will come after which there will be no ominous days for six months. Darius plans to hide Persian soldiers in the barrels which hold gifts for the wedding between Kanish and Barsine to assassinate the entire Paurav royal family Meanwhile, Hasti, who is now a double agent, asks to help Darius in his plan while secretly trying to confirm what Anusuya told him was true or not. During the wedding ceremony, the tornado also hits the Paurav kingdom, and the ceremony is abruptly halted. Meanwhile, Puru is shocked to hear that Darius and Ambhiraj were in league all the time and they used Puru's help to make the army of Takshashila cross Jhelum to assassinate the Paurav royal family and the blame will come on Puru. Meanwhile Laachi brings Ambhikumar back to his father at the Persian hideout. Puru tries to fight the now-combined Persian and Takshashila's army but is unable to do so because Muashiz holds Laachi hostage. Darius and Ambhiraj together brutally beat Puru and presume him dead but on the intercession of Ambhikumar let Laachi go. Meanwhile, Laachi is able to bring the badly wounded Puru back to consciousness, who sets for the Paurav kingdom to capture Darius before he implements his plan. Ambhiraj and his army besiege the Paurav kingdom and break in the Royal Palace during the ceremony. The Paurava army is unable to mobilize because the Persians had already locked their arsenal and food supplies. Meanwhile the Paurava Royal family, with only a few soldiers, is surrounded by the now-revealed Persian army and the army of Takshashila. However, Puru manages to come at the right time and holds Darius hostage. Puru beats Darius into making him admit all the crimes he did in front of Bamni and forces him to tell his army to lower their weapons. However, Ambhiraj fires an arrow towards Puru. As Puru dodges the arrow and steps back, the Persian soldiers restrain him from attacking Darius again. Meanwhile, Ambhiraj challenges Puru to fight him and war breaks down between Takshashila and the Paurav Kingdom. Laachi tries to safely escort Pritha and Kadika, who are still inside the Palace building, but is stopped by Persian soldiers and Barsine. Barsine hides Pritha and Kadika in her room and leaves, whereas Laachi goes out to help Puru. Darius watches as the Takshashila army gradually outnumbers and defeat the Paurava army and orders most of his army to not fight. Hasti sides with Puru and fights Ambhikumar. Meanwhile the Dasyu army comes to rescue Laachi, but Mahanandini refuses to help Puru fight and decides to take Laachi away from the battle. Ambhiraj and Bamni duel, during which Bamni gains the advantage, but Ambhiraj uses his army's help and knocks Bamni. Puru takes the blow Ambhiraj was about to give Bamni and falls down. Puru however manages to climb at the main gate of the Paurav palace, where he delivers a patriotic speech that the children of Bharat should unite against the outsiders. Anusuya goes to Shivdutt and frees him, asking him to also help against the Persians. Puru manages to unite the Pauravas, Takshashilans and Dasyus against the Persians. They successfully manage to drive Darius out of India. Puru proposes to Laachi and she accepts. Bamni appoints Puru as his successor. Meanwhile, Kanishk and Shivdutt now plan to kill Puru, so Kanishk can become Bamni's successor. Meanwhile, another oracle priestess who saw Alexander killing her teacher in Delphi has come to Paurav Raj to avenge her teacher's death and inform Puru with his connection with Alexander and about Alexander's plan to invade bharat. She makes the face of Alexander appear in the fire during Puru's Yuvraj Abhishek(anointment as Crown Prince). This worries the Royal Priest of the Paurav kingdom. Puru notices the priest's worry and asks him what he sa in the fire. The priest says that he saw an invader from the west and tells Puru that his life is connected with someone else's. Using a letter chart, Puru finds that the name of the person with whom his life is connected is Alexander. Meanwhile, the priestess also arrives during the ceremony and tells Puru about what Alexander did to the Oracle and about Alexander's plan. Puru requests Bamni to go to Persia alone to know of Alexander's weaknesses and planning. Bamni initially refuses, not wanting to part with the son he newly reunited with, but in the end, agrees with Puru's demands but tells him that the princes of the nations of Bharat will accompany him. Puru sets of for Persia with Ambhikumar, Laachi and Hasti. Meanwhile Kanishk and Shivdutt plan to kill Puru so that Kanishk becomes next king of Paurava Kingdom. Shivdutt takes Kanishk to a mysterious place where Vishkanyas(Poison-girls) live, who have the ability to kill someone by touching them and are immune to all poison, and explains his plan to kill Puru. While travelling to Persia, Puru and his team notice fire in a forest and reach there only to find that the complete community of inhabitants were killed but a woman and her "brother" survived. Later it is revealed that the woman is Vishuddhi, a Vishkanya who aimed to kill Puru on orders of Shivdutt .To gain Puru and his team's attention she kills the whole community of Banjaras and frightens the boy to support in her motive as her brother and pretends to be a victim. Vishuddhi stays on the ship with Puru and requests him to take them to her village, to which Puru agrees, though Puru is initially surprised that her supposed brother, Malay, does not remember her. Later Vishuddhi forces Malay to tell the others that she is her elder sister. Vishuddhi attempts to kill Puru using snakes, but Puru kill the snakes. Later she makes a hole in the boat so that Puru and the others go to the shore. Malay tries to convince Vishuddhi to abandon her bad cause. Later it is revealed that the place Vishuddhi took them to is the village of the Vishkanyas. Later Vishuddhi decides to help Puru. She helps them in fighting the Vishkanyas and also gives Puru(who was poisoned during the battle against the Vishkanyas), an antidote to curb the poison inside him. She later decides to help Puru and his team in their expedition to go to Persia. Puru sends Male to Bharat with a servent. Kanishk is going to be crowned the next king as there is no news of Puru and Shivdutt has given Bamni fake evidence that Puru and his group were killed by a crocodile. Meanwhile Male reaches the Paurav kingdom and meets Anusuya. Anusuya founds that Male is sent to India by her son Puru. Meanwhile, Shivdutt's men distract Male away from Anusuya and try to kill him, but Male runs away and Anusuya fights Shivdutt, who threatens her to give Male if she want hereself safe. Anusuya wounds Shivdutt and goes to Bamni with Male, who tells Bamni his entire story from when Vishuddhi killed his parents and the entire village, uptill the fight between Anusuya and Shivdutt. Bamni orders his soldiers to imprison Shivdutt and tells that he will be publicly hanged as a traitor, but because Shivdutt has control of the Paurav army they refuse and instead on Shivdutt's orders move to imprison Bamni and Anusuya, but Bamni and Anusuya manage to kill the soldiers and Bamni disarms Shivdutt. However Kanishk puts Shivdutt's sword, which fell near him and puts it on Bamni's neck, prompting Bamni to surrender. Bamni and Anusuya are thrown thrown in prison and Kanishk is crowned King by Shivdutt. Meanwhile Shivdutt beats Anusuya and Anusuya vows in front of Shivdutt that she swears by her blood that was spilled by Shivdutt that she will kill Shivdutt himself. Despite, Kadika's efforts, Kanishk refuses to be lenient to Bamni and Anusuya, and on Shivdutt's instigation, orders Bamni and Anusuya's public execution. The next day, Bamni is given a chance to defend himself and he only says that he accepts his crime that he could not raise Kanishk properly and has failed to balance his duties as a father and a king. However, Kanishk orders his soldiers to kill Bamni and Anusuya immediately but Puru comes and stops the soldiers. Alexander's storyeditParallelly, in Macedonia, King Philip II raped Queen Olympias. Humiliated, Olympias asks Zeus for a son who would win the world for her, which Zeus grants and mates with her in the form of snakes. Olympias names the child Alexander. After 20 years, Alexander defeats the Thracian King in Philip's absence and proves his strength. While Philip reprimands him for brutally killing the Thracian King, he is pleased by his bravery and appoints him as the commander of his army. Meanwhile, Philip's son Arrhidaeus from his other wife, Queen Philinna, becomes Alexander's rival. During a battle against the Athenians and Thebans, Alexander saves Philip's life, where Philip, who is badly wounded and near unconscious, promises him to become the next King of Macedonia. Meanwhile, Arrhidaeus plots to kill Alexander but is unsuccessful. Olympias uses black magic on Arrihdaeus to make him mentally unstable and therefore he is declared unfit to be Philip's successor. When Philip recovers, he declares that he will marry Cleopatra Eurydice of Macedon, daughter of one of his generals, Attalus and their son would become the next King. Alexander opposes the decision and a drunk Philip orders his soldiers to kill Alexander and Olympias. Alexander, his friend Hephaestion and Olympias decide to temporarily leave Macedonia. They meet an oracle priestess who predicts Alexander's future and tell them that Phillip's death and Alexander's rise to power is near. Meanwhile, while planning an attack on Persia, Philip calls back Alexander so that he would protect Macedonia in his absence. However, later he suspects that Alexander and Olympias will plot to take the throne in his absence and halts the campaign. He also decides to marry his and Olympias' daughter, Cleopatra of Macedon, to Olympias' brother, Alexander I of Epirus, in order to establish better relations with Alexander and announces that he will attack Persia after the wedding. Now, Alexander and Olympias plan to dethrone Philip as he would himself never make Alexander the King of Macedonia. He firstly gets the support of Cleitus the Black and turns Pausanias of Orestis, one of Philip's loyal bodyguards, against Philip, who agrees to kill Philip on the day of the marriage. Despite, Attalus' security measures, Pausanias is able to successfully assassinate Philip II and Cleitus kills Pausanias according to Alexander's plan, to avoid suspicion on his part. Meanwhile, Alexander has all supporters of Philip and his potential rivals assassinated and ascends the throne of Macedon, where he tells about his plan to extend Macedonia till the subcontinent. He makes Hephaestion and Cleitus commanders of his army and decides to go to handle the rebellions in Thebes. He defeats and slaughters the Thebans, and returns back to Macedonia. Meanwhile, the oracle tells Olympias that if Alexander will go to Bharat(Indian subcontinent), he will not return back to Macedonia. The Oracle then returns to Delphi. Olympias tells Alexander to return back from Persia after conquering it and not to conquer Bharat, which surprises Alexander. Alexander asks Olympias if the Oracle told her this and Olympias tells Alexander what the Oracle said about him. Alexander and Olympias go to Delphi where Alexander kills the Oracle for trying to stop him from achieving his dream of conquering the world. Meanwhile Alexander embarks on his journey to conquer the world and go to Bharat and leaves, despite his mother's protests. Alexander sails towards Persia. However, his soldiers are too scared and Cleitus explains that they are afraid to face the large Persian army. Alexander goes to Troy, where he takes the Armor of Achilles and a priest tells him that anyone who wears this armor cannot be defeated. Alexander now attacks Persia and the Battle of Granicus takes place. During the battle, Alexander fights the Persian commander Spithridates, who bests him in combat and is about to kill him when Cleitus saves his life and cuts off Spithridates arm before he can land the finishing blow. The Macedonians win the battle. Alexander decides to throw all the Persian soldiers' corpses in the river, and tells Hephaestion that when the river will take these corpses into Persia, the Persians will get afraid. He spares the surviving Persian soldiers, and recruits them in his army. Meanwhile, Alexander goes to Halicarnassus and decides to use the help of Ada of Caria, the erstwhile Queen of Halicarnassus, who agrees to help him and tells him that the fort's weakness is that the water that flows from it can be redirected to destroy its walls with its pressure. Alexander conquer's Halicarnassus and marches to fight with Darius at Issus and succeeds in unfolding the Gordian knot, which was famous for the prediction that whoever untied that knot would conquer the entirety of Asia. The Battle of Issus takes place in which Alexander distracts the Persians by moving his army around them in a circle, to distract their army and clear Alexander's way to reach Darius. During the battle Cleitus wounds Muashiz, who flees from the battlefield. Alexander meanwhile charges towards Darius, who is on a chariot, but is stopped by Farus. Alexander and Farus duel, in which Alexander wins and beheads Farus. Alexander now charges straight towards Darius but has to go back because Darius halts the battle at sunset. Alexander loses 5,000 of his soldiers and is left with 35,000, where as Darius loses half of his army of around 200,000 soldiers. On the final day of the battle Alexander and Darius duel in single combat. Alexander disarms and defeats Darius, but Darius distracts Alexander with a spear and flees the battlefield, shooting Alexander in his left thigh with an arrow when the latter pursues him, followed by the Persian army but promises to return and subsequently Alexander is declared as the king of Persia. This news reaches Darius's family and fearing that Alexander will torture them for their entire life, and seeing no apparent hope for rescue, Darius' wife Stateira I orders a Persian officer to kill her and her daughters Barsine and Drypetis in one blow so that they won't have to incur Alexander's torture. However, when the officer is about to kill them, Alexander throws a knife and kills the officer. Alexander assures Darius's family that they are safe and his war was with Darius and not his family. Thus, Alexander takes the responsibility of Darius's family. Meanwhile, Puru and his team reach Persia where puru burns a market so that Barsine is aware of Puru's arrival in Persia. Puru and his team dress like the Persians and start their mission to help Barsine and her family. During the celebration of Alexander's victory, he gets badly drunk and misbehaves with Barsine and Drypetis. Puru and Laachi reach Barsine's room and Puru tells her that Indians can cross any limit to help a person who had once helped them in their time of crisis and now it is time to repay her debt. Alexander receives a letter from Darius in which he asks for settlement. He offers Alexander half of his property and Barsine's hand in marriage but Alexander rejects his advances and vows to kill him instead. He reaches Barsine's room and senses someone's presence but is unable to find anyone. He tells Darius's family that Darius is a coward and he is hiding in Bactria but he cannot escape from Alexander and he will defeat him at any cost. Alexander prepares to leave for Bactria. He arrives at Bactria with Barsine and her family. Meanwhile Darius is staying at Bactria under the protection of King Bessus. Bactria's princess Roxana advises Bessus, King of Bactria to give Darius to Alexander as he is the cause of enmity between Bactria and Alexander. Darius asks them to save him as he is the guest and an old friend of Bactria. He also rebukes Roxana to keep her mouth shut when two kings are talking as it is disobedience for princesses. To this Roxana says that a man who had fled away from battlefield and had endangered his territory and family in hands of intruder had no right to be called a king. Muashiz gets angry and is tries to grab his sword to kill Roxana but she immediately throws a knife towards him and he dies. Roxana tells her father that it is time to present Alexander a token of friendship. Alexander rests inside his camp when Roxana intrudes the place to deliver the gift. She swiftly sneaks behind Alexander's camp and throws a stone which hits a goblet awakening Alexander. Roxana runs away but Alexander catches a glimpse of her and pursues her. Alexander manages to get hold of her but he feels a strange kind of attraction towards her. Roxana reveals her identity and Alexander gently asks her name to which she replies Rukhsana and Alexander calls her Roxane. Roxana presents him the gift which turns out to be Darius's severed head. Alexander throws the head in front of Darius's family, shattering them. Roxana tells Alexander that King Bessus wants to meet him and has extended a hand of friendship. Alexander agrees but requests Roxana to unveil her face as he wants to admire her face. She complies and unveils her face. Alexander gets smitten by her beauty and falls in love with her. Later that day, during the celebrations, he kills Bessus as he cannot trust a person like Bessus who killed his friend for his own benefit. Alexander further explains that Darius was his enemy but a friend of Bessus and had trusted him but Bessus backstabbed him in return. After Bessus's death, Alexander appoints Roxana's father and former commander of Bessus, Oxyartes as the new King of Bactria who will rule under Alexander's command as Bessus had said that oxyartes is trustworthy and very loyal. Roxana gets extremely baffled by this and leaves. She becomes upset and avoids Alexander. He explains her that Bessus deserved the punishment and she and her father couldn't be blamed but Roxana remains rigid. Alexander proposes her marriage but she refuses his proposal as she does not wish to get married to a merciless human being. Alexander becomes heartbroken for the first time in his life. Purushottam/Porus' and Alexander's meetingeditPuru tells Laachi that they too will have to depart towards Bactria. Meanwhile, Puru and his group are caught by Macedonian soldiers, who take him where the public of Persia is assembled. Alexander has called the public to make all of them kiss his feet and proclaim him as the new god of that time. One child from Persia refuses to bow and tells the Persian public to not bow before such a cruel king. Alexander tells Hephaestion to kill the boy in front of his parents. Puru saves the boy and stops Hephaestion from killing him. Puru then proceeds to beat Hepheastion and the Macedonian soldiers who attack him. Alexander commends his bravery and asks him that to pay for this he will now kiss Hephaestion's feet first and then Alexander's feet. Instead of kissing Hephaestion's feet, Puru throws him on the ground but is surrounded by a large group of Macedonian soldiers. Puru tells Alexander the traits of a Bharatiya(a person from Bharat). Alexander meanwhile arrests him and throws Puru in the dungeons. Alexander comes to the dungeon later and announces that Puru will take part in a Gladiator competition, and Puru tells him that at the end, Alexander will regret. Meanwhile, Olympias arrives in Persia and orders Alexander to cancel the competition and not associate himself with Bharat or anything associated with Bharat but Alexander refuses. During the competition, Puru manages to defeat all the Macedonian gladiators and even survives when Alexander and Olympias order arrows to be fired at him. Puru the puts a sword at Alexander's throat and tells Barsine and her family to flee, but Alexander manages to convince the Persian populus to convince the Royal Family to stay in Persia. Meanwhile Puru escapes because his group distracts the Macedonian soldiers with explosives and they flee. Alexander and his army pursue him and at the opening of a narrow defile, where the army cannot cross. Vishuddhi stays there to distract Alexander's army and throws a poisonous dagger at Alexander, but does not know that Alexander is immune to poison and is killed by Alexander. Puru, Laachi, Hasti, and Ambhikumar manage to escape. Darius' storyeditAfter setting on his journey to return from the Paurav kingdom back to Persia with his general Muashiz and his son Farus , Darius is informed that Alexander has decided to the Persia and orders the local Commanders to deal with him. However, Darius is devastated to see the Granicus River stained red by the blood of the Persian soldiers' corpses. Despite this, he decides not to personally face Alexander and sends reinforcements to the men stationed in Halicarnassus, thinking that Alexander can not conquer the fort but Alexander conquer the fort with the former queen and the queen announces Alexander as his son so that there will be no rebellion. However, after he learns that Alexander has conquered Halicarnassus, he delivers a speech to the Persian people and asks them from one recruit in the Persian army from every family. He then tells them that he personally will face Alexander at Issus and sends Farus with some men to remove the hands of all the Persians who joins Macedonian Army. Farus succeeds but Alexander gives an answer by sending dead bodies of all the Persian army whose hands were cut by Farus and his men. During the battle of Issus, Darius' commander Muashiz is wounded and Muashiz's son Farus is beheaded by Alexander in single combat. In an attempt to get more time and save his army and himself, Darius halts the battle at sunset. Later he consoles the grieving Muashiz and decides to gather more soldiers and kill Alexander the next day. Then, the next day, Alexander and Darius fight in single combat, in which Alexander disarms and defeat Darius, but Darius distracts Alexander with a fallen spear and flees the battle on horseback, wounding Alexander in his left thigh with an arrow and flees to Bactria. He later sends a letter to Alexander, offering him half of Persia's territory, gold, and his daughter's hand in return of a truce. Alexander recognises by the cloth on which the letter was written and the smell of the ink that Darius is in Bactria. Alexander rebuffs the offer, and humiliates Darius in a return letter, telling him that he does not possess any authority now on anything he wanted to give Alexander in the letter he sent and that Alexander gives him a month more to run and survive. He reaches Bactria and asks the king of Bactria, Bessus for help. However, Bessus's most trusted chief's daughter Roxana suggests that they shouldn't take up enmity with Alexander purposely and instead should submit Darius to Alexander. The same day Darius is murdered by Bessus and his head is presented as a token of friendship to Alexander by Roxane. |
