edit@Chaipau: Boruah (2003) p339 talks about Pragjyotisha kingdom not Pragjyotishpura The earliest mention of the name of Pragjyotisa in the local sources has been found only in the 7th century onwards
so the citation is not referring to Pragjyotishpura but Pragjyotisha! Homogenie (talk) 06:05, 27 May 2022 (UTC)
@Chaipau:: The source doesnot say Prajyotishpura, i dont see why this is still used! Homogenie (talk) 15:02, 27 May 2022 (UTC)
- This article should be rewritten. It is very confusing as written now. Chaipau (talk) 15:04, 27 May 2022 (UTC)
- Doesnot matter! the citation is not about Pragjyotishpura, the city Homogenie (talk) 15:45, 27 May 2022 (UTC)
- @Chaipau: I shall remove this reference as this doesnot say anything about Pragjyotishpura! Homogenie (talk) 14:02, 28 May 2022 (UTC)
- Why? The mention of Pragjyotisha precedes the mention of Pragjyotishpura? Pragjyotisha could have been a city-state. Chaipau (talk) 14:34, 28 May 2022 (UTC)
- Is this reference about the city-state as you assume it to be or it is the kingdom of Mahabharata which was in the Nidhapur inscription Homogenie (talk) 17:54, 28 May 2022 (UTC)
- There was no separate Pragjyotishpura. Pragjyotisha was re-imagined as Pragjyotishpura after the Varman dynasty. So this should be merged with Pragjyotisha kingdom. Look at Shin. Chaipau (talk) 18:11, 28 May 2022 (UTC)

- @Chaipau: please stop, the citation is about Pragjyotisha, the Epic kingdom found in the Nidhapur inscription while the article is about Pragjyotishpura Homogenie (talk) 02:01, 30 May 2022 (UTC)

I don't understand what your problem is, but I have added a citation on Pragjyotishpura. Chaipau (talk) 04:02, 30 May 2022 (UTC)
