K-4
editWhy is "K-4" in common use?? It sounds like the period from kindergarten through fourth grade to me. 66.32.232.185 23:57, 4 May 2006 (UTC) (Note: This is Georgia guy, accidentally not logged-in.)
Is "Pre-kindergarten" the right title for this article?
editIn California, at least, "pre-school" is a more common term for the subject of this article, I think.--Hjal (talk) 17:48, 20 January 2011 (UTC)
- As a non-American I've always heard it referred to by Americans as Pre-K (short for pre-kindergarten), but from the article text it does sound very similar to pre-school programs in the UK. 86.150.199.249 (talk) 14:57, 20 May 2016 (UTC)

- Do please respond to the proposal presented on Talk:Preschool_education, which would affect a number of articles relating to early years eduction. PeterEastern (talk) 03:51, 29 November 2013 (UTC)
- In the short term, I have added a hatnote defining the scope of this article being limited to the USA. I have also removed he very old merge banner which linked to a stale discussion. PeterEastern (talk) 04:48, 29 November 2013 (UTC)

Redundant Article?
editIs this article redundant with the article [[1]]? Why do they both exist? If redundant, will someone volunteer to merge them? — Preceding unsigned comment added by Cclehnen (talk • contribs) 20:10, 15 January 2021 (UTC)
