Your version is full with promotional words "prominent politician", "capital of her husband's former kingdom", "affluent", "a rare achievement in the days of the British Raj", "as Maharani of Patiala", and un enclyopediac lines " remained a back-bencher", and finally too much focus on her family. The article is about Preneet Kaur not her family. --Vigyanitalkਯੋਗਦਾਨ23:46, 15 August 2014 (UTC)Reply
"Prominent politician" : Removed the word prominent
"capital of her husband's former kingdom": Not promotional. On the contrary, this indicates that she had prior advantage over her rival candidates.
"affluent": Her father simply was affluent. However, this is a relative term (compared to her later life) and so I have removed it
"a rare achievement in the days of the British Raj": Do you deny this?
"as Maharani of Patiala": Agreed. Phrase is removed.
"remained a back-bencher": Nothing "un-encyclopedic" about this, but wording changed anyway to please you.
Too much focus on her family: Disagree. Every bio-page gives info on family, and this info is correct and verifiable. It is also packed into one section. Feel free to add info about her own achievements, as long as they are verifiable. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 59.182.177.117 (talk) 11:52, 16 August 2014 (UTC)Reply
"a rare achievement in the days of the British Raj": it does not matter what we believe, we need sources. And strong sources for these kind of statement, which explicitly says that yes this particular job was a rare achievement.--Vigyanitalkਯੋਗਦਾਨ13:36, 16 August 2014 (UTC)Reply
You talk of verifiability but yourself added lot of family information without any sources. So I have removed some of it. Please bring sources. There is still lot of unsourced stuff, so I have tagged it. --Vigyanitalkਯੋਗਦਾਨ14:22, 16 August 2014 (UTC)Reply
The only information I have removed is that of Preneet Kaur's husband, sister, and sisters husband. These points are not relevant to the article, if you wish to create a new article about any of them please do so (if notable), with appropriate sources. I changed wording to bring it in line with other politicians articles on WP. If you have any suggestions to improve the wording please do so. But there is no need to revert the entire article. And please do not add irrelevant information, (eg. Why does someone who is reading about Preneet want to know what the sister's husbands job. You can create internal links to the respective articles and people can refer to the information there. Gsingh (talk) 22:14, 19 August 2014 (UTC)Reply
