Disputed statement
The article claims that private police have a private court system outside the criminal justice system which can send offenders to private prisons. This seems unlikely as it would violate the right to due process. The source cited made no mention of this in the publicly available abstract, and a search turned up no other references to this claim. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 72.187.220.51 (talk) 08:54, 8 February 2017 (UTC)
NPOV
This appears to be NPOV and uses weasel words. It goes on about the potential positives of private policing while it dismisses the potential negatives of private policing as something some people see. -DetroitSeattle (talk) 06:48, 17 March 2013 (UTC)
- Seconded. In contrast, it makes substantial claims about advantages that are chiefly assertions or only apply in a subset of constellations. Not to mention that "cheaper" doesn't necessarily mean "better". There is no discussion of potential conflicts of interest etc. --2A02:810C:380:1DEC:1C4D:6D3E:AF8C:9D4 (talk) 19:17, 6 May 2019 (UTC)
