Verifying Notable Alumni
editDo not remove entries from the notable alumni section. All entries have been checked and verified to be correct from various sources on the web. The list has been prepared after painstaking efforts by various contributors so DO NOT REMOVE any information before discussing it on this page. If any contributor has doubts about the authencity of the list, he/she may request citation of the source by using the {{Fact}} tag. Please read Tagging unsourced material under Citing Sources in Manual of Style --आशीष वशिष्ठ 23:42, 31 December 2006 (UTC)
There is an addition of one Manish Kumar Agarwal who founded Velocity Software Solutions. Not much information is present for Manish and also there is no substantial info on the company, other than its own website. It seems like an act of self-opulence, thus I am undoing the change. If there is anything I am missing, please let me know. Mittgaurav (talk) 08:55, 28 April 2011 (UTC)
Aeronautical vs. Aerospace
editThe College offers Aeronautical Engineering and not Aerospace Engineering. Check the offical PEC website - Academic Overview --आशीष वशिष्ठ 22:15, 10 November 2006 (UTC)

External links pruning
editHere is the long list of links, whose function was unclear. They could be added as references in the article--the article, right now, does not have any good references. Dr Aaij (talk) 20:05, 5 April 2010 (UTC)

Notable Alumni
editThere are currently two entries in the Notable alumni that do not have an article, Rakesh Kapania and Chandra Mohan. I think they should be removed unless there is an article which establishes their notability. AtHomeIn神戸 (talk) 05:05, 18 September 2015 (UTC)
- A year later and more have been added. Per WP:LISTBIO only people with biographical articles should be listed here. So I have removed the following:
- Inderjit Chopra - Distinguished Professor of Aerospace Engineering, University of Maryland, College Park[1]
- Rajeev Kumar - Research Assistant Professor, Department of Aerospace and Mechanical Engineering, University of Arizona.[2][3]
- Rakesh Kapania - Norris and Laura Mitchell Professor of Aerospace Engineering, Aerospace and Ocean Engineering, Virginia Tech[4]
- Chandra Mohan, co-founded Punjab Tractors Limited; Mechanical.[5]
- Sanjiv Bhavnani[6] - Founder CEO of Mentorpreneur Advisors, B.E. Mechanical (1983)[7]
- A viable article about a person should be created before they are added to the alumni list. AtHomeIn神戸 (talk) 04:41, 23 August 2016 (UTC)
