On Amavasya day, every month a mela is organized a here and there is heavy rush in this temple and thousands of devotees visit here every month to perform Sharadha rituals and for pooja at the Shivji temple. In a year there are 12 melas organized here and each mela has its own importance and characterized by some important names like Vaishaka Amavasya, Mahashivraatri, Chaitra Chaudish, etc.
