Trimmed version for merger
editThe track "Pungi" plays in background during one scene of the film. The "insane dance moves" of Saif Ali Khan recorded into the CCTV cameras on the sets were used to create video and the song was used for promotional purpose. Pungi, a musical instrument, is predominantly used in the song and lends the title. Other musical instruments used include shehnai, darabuka, conga and claps. The song was choreographed by Jasmeen Oza and proved chartbuster.
Please forgive my grammar and improve it further. Regards,-Nizil (talk) 07:17, 15 October 2019 (UTC)
- This paragraph "must" be added to the film and/or soundtrack album irrespective of whether the current article stays or gets redirected. I have no objections to including something there. I have objections to deleting or redirecting a notable song that has been covered by reliable media in significant detail i.e. WP:SIGCOV --DBigXrayᗙ 07:27, 15 October 2019 (UTC)
- @DBigXray: Is it good summary of the entire article? Or anything left out? -Nizil (talk) 07:52, 15 October 2019 (UTC)
- Summary yes, but not a good summary. Singers name and music director is missing. Lyrics and video section that I have added are not summarized. Reception needs more mention. Copyright case is totally missing.--DBigXrayᗙ 08:07, 15 October 2019 (UTC)
- Lyrics and video section are new addition. Singer etc. not included because film article already cover it. This section is intended to be included in the film article.-Nizil (talk) 11:41, 16 October 2019 (UTC)
- Yes, but they exist now. and hence should be included into the summary that is being planned to be copied to the main article. --DBigXrayᗙ 07:10, 17 October 2019 (UTC)

Title
edit@DBigXray: I think the article should be renamed Pungi which is a official title of the song (only after AfD closure). -Nizil (talk) 14:05, 16 October 2019 (UTC)
- I have split this line from the above thread, this discussion merits a seperate section and should not be merged in the discussion of the summary. Regarding the title, yes you are right that the official title is Pungi, but we are not required to follow the official title. The common name used by the mainstream media , guides us on the article title. from the sources listed here and the article, one may find that reliably media generally uses "Pyar ki Pungi" more frequently than just Pungi. so I think the title is alright. I may change my position if there are strong evidence that contradicts what I have found so far. --DBigXrayᗙ 07:10, 17 October 2019 (UTC)
- Another point to note is, Pungi already exists and instead of using a dab for the song, I would let it be Pyaar ki Pungi, as used in the reliable sources. --DBigXrayᗙ 11:23, 17 October 2019 (UTC)
