editwas it the year 1936? It's wrong and it's 1975! It says here the film was based on the toys... wasn't it (and the toys) based on the characters created first in a book? I'm correcting this. If someone knows better, feel free to put it back. Amber388 16:34, 13 October 2006 (UTC)
Release
editIt says that the movie wasn't on video until the late 80s, but I can say absolutely, positively and without question that I first rented the movie from a video kiosk in 1984. Perhaps it was an exclusive release like I Go Pogo, but it was definitely available on VHS prior to the later CBS/Fox tape. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 72.47.150.164 (talk) 11:01, 7 June 2013 (UTC)
CIA Involvement
editThe CIA involvement section is extremely dubious: it was added by an I.P. addressed editor and contains no references. No reference to any level of CIA control is present in ITT Corporation's article. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 2601:0:E81:4675:0:0:0:1000 (talk) 02:53, 29 May 2016 (UTC)

Animation365 (talk) 18:07, 10 March 2022 (UTC)After all these years, I hope that Raggedy Ann & Andy: A Musical Adventure will be released on DVD, Blu-ray and Digital for the first time ever on October 11, 2022 by 20th Century Studios Home Entertainment to celebrate its 45th anniversary. Featuring a new digital restoration, the transfer represents the movie in its original theatrical 2.39:1 widescreen format. The movie will stream on HBO Max and Disney+ on October 19, 2022. This year, it will stream on HBO Max for a limited time from October 19 to December 31 because HBO's deal with 20th Century, signed before Disney's acquisition of the company in 2013, runs out at the end of 2022. I also hope that the soundtrack album will be re-released by Walt Disney Records featuring the 1977 original soundtrack from the movie, including the film score with no dialogue.
Important Notice!
editHello everyone, just in case you know, I have expanded the article on this film, thanks to the reliable sources I found, including the ones on Newspaper Archives and Internet Archive. The reason why I am expanding this is because of my passion for this movie. My goal is to make sure this article is reaching at least the GA status, similar to articles of non-Disney animated films such as The Care Bears Movie and Care Bears Movie II: A New Generation. The film will need to be reassessed at some point, but I want to make sure the rest of the article is expanded first before I can request it on these WikiProjects above. If you want or need to discuss about something, feel free to talk about any changes and warnings right over here. Any mistakes I made will be wisely apologized.
There are some things that need to be done for a better-quality article:
- Fix anything general, including typos.
- Add more information and reliable sources. No original research is allowed unless it is added with the [Citation needed] tag! Reliable sources also must follow the Verifiability policy. And please, NO PLAGIARISM! Any copyright violations and controversies will be deleted and discussed!
- Upload, license, and add at least one or two images. They should be focused in a encyclopedic way.
- Clean up any citations if possible.
- Clean up the Manual of Style if possible.
Any clean-ups on my edits will be appreciated. Aubreeprincess (talk) 06:39, 29 December 2022 (UTC)
approaching garrett gilchrist
editedits regarding garrett gilchrist’s contributions to helping make the film available and addressing the film’s rarity are being removed over being branded under user generated sources and apparently containing original research. i believe that this information needs to be factored into the article as there should at least be a blurb to explain the film’s general unavailability. given that aubreyprincess is aiming to make this article meet the good article quota, i believe i should ask her what she believes is the best way to approach the inclusion of this information in the article.
