editRaja Jehandad Khan was a prominent chief of Gakhars (kiyani) who was given the title of C.I.E and Khan Bahadur from the british Government. His family which dates back to Mughal Emperor Akbar reign, had a major role in shaping the history of Jehlum, Rawalpindi and Attock. There are hundreds of thousands of members of the tribe including current army chief of pakistan Gen Ashfaq Kiyani. This article directly relates to the webpage of Ghakkars in wikipedia.
