- Global Trust Bank was a major Indian banking scandal - I suggest this Ramesh Gelli entry (which does not really communicate the signficance of GTB's failure and scandals) be merged into a new page about Global Trust Bank, and this be linked from Banking in India Bwithh 14:39, 19 October 2005 (UTC)

editI have commented out the paragraph relating to controversial matters because it is, like the rest of this article, unsourced.
