RatPac-Dune Entertainment → RatPac Entertainment – The RatPac logo does not have "Dune" in its name. 31.52.4.146 (talk) 11:57, 6 August 2016 (UTC)
The logo is not dispositive for purposes of naming. Please show evidence that some WP:RS use the non-Dune version, post merger. Further, there is a RatPac-Dune logo out there: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=MXI0f-uopac and it's possible the article just needs the logo updated. Note that this move may have merit, but you need to justify it properly. Floatjon (talk) 22:52, 7 August 2016 (UTC)

Do we need to move/rename or split this article?
editI don't know much about this topic but it is on my Watchlist and I saw that somebody tried to do a cut-n-paste move on this article, effectively to rename it to RatPac Entertainment, which currently redirects here. The rationale given for the attempted deletion part of this was: "RatPac Entertainment is its own entity and requires its own page, the RatPac-Dune was just a partnership for 75 films."
This raises some questions:
- Are RatPac-Dune and RatPac separate entities or just differences in naming/branding?
- What is the current name?
- Should the article be split, moved/renamed or stay as it is?
I note that a move was rejected in 2016 but that was because no valid rationale was offered so there was no basis for discussion. Maybe there is this time? I'm neutral on all this. What does everybody else think? --DanielRigal (talk) 12:24, 10 December 2022 (UTC)
- I've requested the move 7 days ago and hasn't received any feedback, tomorrow it will end into backlog and I'll have to relist. Have you had a chance to look into the requested move? GMercadante (talk) 13:43, 17 December 2022 (UTC)

RatPac-Dune Entertainment → RatPac Entertainment – RatPac is an independent company and is still active, thorough out the years they have partnered with other companies like HBO, Warner Bros, Brad Pitt's Plan B Entertainment for a 3 year deal and in this case Dune for a 75 films co-financing agreement. In fact Plan B Entertainment's Wikipedia page lists RatPac Entertainment under the "Former Production Deals" section [1]. This page was created in error due to a misunderstanding of those agreements and doesn't require its own page. RatPac Entertainment should have its page and feature their projects and the ones co-financed with other companies in the proper sections. This is verifiable in this article from Forbes and Business Insider from 2014 after those deals were made. [2][3] . GMercadante (talk) 14:12, 10 December 2022 (UTC) — Relisting. Make the article past tense due to the companies' closure and replaced by Access
editDue to ratpac closing in 2017 and getting replaced by access entertainment should this article be in past tense now, like was instead of is Toshibafansandmore (talk) 02:11, 27 March 2024 (UTC)
