- You should also add the "Soul" genre in the second source.

Lead
edit- "American recording artist Prince, under the unpronounceable "Love Symbol", as shown on the album cover". → If I remove the sentences with additional information it makes no sense. Re-write
- Done
- "the album features more commercial and radio-friendly material". → which album?
- Done
- "completed a "sensual" cover of Crow's 1996 single "Everyday Is a Winding Road"". → not in the body of the article.
- Done
- "the album was conceived as a return to mass markets after Prince spent several years without significant public attention." → same issue as previous
- Done
- "the album features more commercial and radio-friendly material." → one song in the body of the article, not the entire album.
- Done
- ,achieved modest success, → bias, unless some reviewer as said that.
- Done
- "peaking at number 63 on the Billboard Hot 100 and becoming the album's only charted song".→ peaked...became...
- Done
Recording and release
edit- However, recording and writing sessions began to be unfruitful, and the entire project was abandoned. → However, as soon as the recording and writing sessions began to be unfruitful, the entire project was abandoned.
- Done
- Name the studios after the cities and/or states.
- Done
- and London, England, immediately following the release of his previous studio album, The Vault: Old Friends 4 Sale (1999), released just three months prior. → and London, England, just after the release of his previous studio album, The Vault: Old Friends 4 Sale (1999), three months prior.
- Done

- Done

- Done
Composition
edit- "Rave Un2 the Joy Fantastic departs from the use of soul on The Vault: Old Friends 4 Sale." → it does depart but not completly. So re-arrange that.
- Done Reworded. Carbrera (talk) 19:17, 2 September 2016 (UTC)
- "and is his one of Prince's "most pop-oriented" tracks in years" → and is one of Prince's "most pop-oriented" tracks in years
- Done
- "Tangerine" is a ballad that contains "savvy pop" elements, comparable to Prince's previous efforts → "savvy pop" elements are left to "So Far, So Pleased"; what do you mean with "comparable to Prince's previous efforts" it's not stated nothing like that in the article?
- Done
- the track was produced to appeal to modern radio and the mainstream crowd. → this is not in the source provided.
- Done Removed.
- "Segue II" is again a silent track, followed by promotional singles "Man'O'War" and "Baby Knows", the former of which containing "falsetto soul" and the latter featuring contributions from Crow, including her vocals and use of a harmonica. → wrong reference, the review is not on Discogs for sure, also remove that source.
- Done
- You wave a couple of reviews in the CD universe reference use them, structuring them appropriately and according to individual references. For example: "Rolling Stone Rave Un2 the Joy Fantastic review". United States: Rolling Stone. January 1, 2000: 57.

- @Carbrera: All in all, this article has some issues regarding not only prose and writing but also references; not to mention lack of information that can be easily found as I have posted just above. I'll put this article on hold (it's not a quick fail) and I will give you 2 weeks to address all of these issues, this includes the expansion of the per said article with not only the references I posted but also others you can easily find. Good luck MarioSoulTruthFan (talk) 11:57, 27 June 2016 (UTC)
- Oh gosh I completely forgot about this article! I'm gonna be gone in a few days for two weeks; do you think I could have a bit more time going at this article?? Thanks! Carbrera (talk) 15:03, 5 July 2016 (UTC)
- @Carbrera: Sure how long? MarioSoulTruthFan (talk) 19:21, 5 July 2016 (UTC)
- MarioSoulTruthFan, Carbrera, I only see one minor edit in the nearly six weeks since the above exchange. Perhaps a firm deadline could be set for the work to be done, assuming the review hasn't run out of time? Thanks. BlueMoonset (talk) 02:34, 15 August 2016 (UTC)
- @BlueMoonset: I have been out of town for the last couple of weeks. He missed the first topics and failed to correct the websites. I will warn Carbrera.
- @Carbrera: You must address the final issues, otherwise I will fail this article. You have one week, on September 3, 2016 if nothing has been done I will fail the article. Best regards, MarioSoulTruthFan (talk) 02:03, 28 August 2016 (UTC)
- @MarioSoulTruthFan and MarioSoulTruthFan: I believe I took care of it? Thanks for your leniency. Carbrera (talk) 03:44, 2 September 2016 (UTC)

@Carbrera: I left some notes with "not done" in this page, please address them, most of them are new. MarioSoulTruthFan (talk) 14:55, 2 September 2016 (UTC)
- @MarioSoulTruthFan: Thanks! Carbrera (talk) 19:19, 2 September 2016 (UTC).
- @Carbrera: gladly passing. I would advise you to see the importance of this article in the Pop and R&B/Soul project. Doesn't seem to be "mid-importance". MarioSoulTruthFan (talk) 13:23, 3 September 2016 (UTC)
