Anything other than controversy?

The fact that the Controversy section is almost all of this article's content feels like WP:UNDUE. Is this person really even notable, if there's almost nothing we can come up with to write about them, beyond a (completely-unsourced) bullet list of film titles, and two WP:BLPGOSSIP-level items about personal drama? -- FeRDNYC (talk) 01:04, 28 June 2019 (UTC)

She has never acted a cinema movie (which are essentially the ones that easily pass WP:NFILMS), however, she has acted in probably scores of direct-to-video films, and many more productions for Africa Magic. But I think her main claim to notability is her cult-following, and how she was able to grow from a child actor to a Nollywood diva. At the time I created the article, there was even no real controversy, and my evaluation was she was borderline notable, but I can understand (and might have agreed) if anyone thinks otherwise. @Handsomeboy: Yeah, I'm really torn here. Our coverage of the entire continent of Africa is just shamefully lacking, we really need more articles like this one. But on the other side of the coin, we must hold articles about living persons to the WP:BLP standards for content and notability. Especially since she's only 18 even now — when some of the things in the article happened, she was still a minor. That means that the article is supposed to be (and should be!) subjected to the highest scrutiny regarding content and balance.

It's clear from the edit history that the article has at times attracted too many of the wrong kind of edits (WP:BLPGOSSIP violations), and too few that provide balanced, neutral content backed up by reliable sources, which are the edits that it desperately needs. But if anyone or anything is to blame for that, it's English Wikipedia's overall imbalance in how much attention is paid to Western European and American topics, at the expense of the rest of the globe.

(I mean, if she appears in Africa Magic productions, you'd think that article would be a conduit for additional information — and it might be, if we had a better article for the network. But that one suffers from a lot of the same problems. I actually ended up suckering myself into doing a bunch of housekeeping and expansion over there (Africa Magic), but there's still so much more that could be done.)

As far as the Regina Daniels article goes, I'll leave it on my watchlist and try to keep an eye on any further edits, see that people are following WP:BLP rules and the like. And if I can make the time, I'll see if I can rally some troops from the WikiProjects listed in the talk page header, to see if they're able to flesh it out with some additional content for balance. Her father's position on her age

There is a calculated move by some parties to increase her age so that she wouldn't seem to young for her husband. I just want to include position of her father (although he is no longer together with her mother) on her age. According to her father, she was born on October 10, 2001. 1, 2.
