Doherty's championing of the PSC, in the face of opposition and challenges from the Data Protection Commissioner, is notable by its absence. The whole "mandatory, not compulsory" thing was very newsworthy, as was the insistence that photos weren't biometric data. Given we cover such riveting and encyclopedia-worthy material as opening a plenary session of the OECD... Right, something for the weekend, perhaps.
