The information of the demographics list the caracoles as the primary demographic group of the island. It also lists them as of primarily European decent. The majority of Roatan islanders are of partial native, black and white decent, much as the same as Garifuna.

Removed information

I removed the following information from the article, as I couldn't verify it. Additionally, a link to a real estate agent was provided (originally - now removed), which suggests this was only added for the sake of business promotion:

Many realtors in Roatán who are selling both residential and holiday or vacational homes are now actively participating to ensure that the natural beauty of Roatan is maintained.

It actually is more than just an opinion. It is the truth. Tourism and environmental impact

Renamed this section to "Environmental impact of tourism" since it has nothing to do with tourism except in relation to the environment. Bill the Cat 7 (talk) 17:52, 18 September 2009 (UTC)
