INSERT HISTORY AND PICTURE
September 2nd 1965, Kennedy swam to ship in high seas. Newport, R.I. - Boat swain mate l/c Sam E. Harris, 26, of the U.S. coast Guard points to map to locate approximate position where he pulled Sen. - Not done: it's not clear what changes you want to be made. Please mention the specific changes in a "change X to Y" format and provide a reliable source if appropriate. ― Blaze WolfTalkblaze__wolf 17:27, 14 November 2023 (UTC)
Portrait photo
editHi all,
I added a more higher quality portrait into the infobox.
For reference in case it gets reverted, the image was/is this:
Let me know if you support or oppose the image change.
Thanks,

I like this photo, but I still prefer his official U.S. Senate portrait (Image A) which is the current profile pic. Oluwasegu (talk) 22:13, 10 December 2023 (UTC)
- Additionally, his face is bit blurry in this Image D pic and I don't necessarily like the dark gray background. Oluwasegu (talk) 22:16, 10 December 2023 (UTC)
- This is not an improvement over his current senate picture, nor the one that was up for years, which is the original listed number A from the choices in the thread above from January 2023. Kierzek (talk) 22:21, 10 December 2023 (UTC)
- Mainly also introduced this image for discussion also because it wasn't uploaded at the time of the discussion in Jan 2023. Personally, I find the current image an awkward crop of Kennedy's likeness, with what I assuming is a signature in the corner being rather off putting. In that particular thread, I would have voted a different option since the image I am proposing was not there. KangarooGymnast (talk) 22:37, 10 December 2023 (UTC)

Infobox Photo
editDue to recent changes which of the following should we use:
-
Image A
-
Image B
-
Image C
Oluwasegu (talk) 00:06, 10 August 2024 (UTC)
- A is a good representation. Shows us his full face clearly without the shadow of C or a rather peculiar angle of B. Kierzek (talk) 03:39, 10 August 2024 (UTC)
- I'm in favor of either A or B, but NOT C.Oluwasegu (talk) 12:31, 10 August 2024 (UTC)
- I'm in favor of C. I don't think we should use a black and white photo when colored pictures exist. I say C, i think he looks really good on it and it really shows the real person in the right spotlight. I'm still fine with B. Leikstjórinn (talk) 15:29, 10 August 2024 (UTC)
- I have found photos on Wikipedia that can be used along with the other three listed above. I personally like the color photos instead of black-and-white. Wcamp9 (talk) 21:48, 3 September 2024 (UTC)

I prefer Image A or Image B Oluwasegu (talk) 22:06, 4 September 2024 (UTC)
I think Image G (cropped) is good. Wcamp9 (talk) 16:24, 8 September 2024 (UTC)
I really like Image G, so I would support this one as well. Brat Forelli🦊 00:46, 9 September 2024 (UTC)
- Sorry I wasn’t aware of this conversation. I cropped G so that it’ll look better in the infobox. What’s everyone’s thoughts? Robertus Pius (Talk • Contribs) 01:12, 9 September 2024 (UTC)
- Looks amazing! Brat Forelli🦊 02:13, 9 September 2024 (UTC)
- Thank you! Kind regards, Robertus Pius (Talk • Contribs) 03:13, 9 September 2024 (UTC)

Image G (cropped)
- Personally I like G (cropped) but I’d also be fine with B. Robertus Pius (Talk • Contribs) 03:31, 9 September 2024 (UTC)
- I don't know about G. I would rather prefer B, C, E or F. He looks really dapper, depressed and weird on G. Leikstjórinn (talk) 18:32, 29 September 2024 (UTC)
- I would say D, E or F are best. Kierzek (talk) 18:36, 29 September 2024 (UTC)
Infobox children
editShould we add RFK's children in the infobox? Since most of them have their own pages and it's better to navigate with them in the infobox. G0dzillaboy02 (talk) 13:25, 4 September 2024 (UTC)
- If we do, then it would be best to mention all by name, though having a cumulative number by itself does offer a sense of conciseness. SNUGGUMS (talk / edits) 17:28, 4 September 2024 (UTC)
