Mixed (United Kingdom ethnicity category) says her father is Sierra-Leonean and her mother is English. Does anyone have a ref for that? Lkjhgfdsa 0 (talk) 19:05, 17 February 2010 (UTC)Reply

This article spends 95% of the text referring to the two bands Wiseman performed in, and comparatively little about the actual subject matter. Details of the bands 'achievements' are not needed here, given both have their own Wikipedia articles. Frankly, what remains barely justifies a separate article. Please see Wikipedia:Coatrack and Wikipedia:Masking the lack of notability, before responding. Derek R Bullamore (talk) 16:33, 5 December 2010 (UTC)Reply

Yes, at least half the info in this article should be on the articles about the groups, but not on this article. As with the articles on the other members of the Saturdays, they need more info on them as individuals. I don't know why a lot of band info that has no individual relevance to her has been added to this article. Jim Michael (talk) 17:26, 18 December 2010 (UTC)Reply
Can I naughtily suggest it is because, without the band(s) information very little remains of note, and thus none of the individuals in themselves are actually notable. Frankly, I feel a merge back into the main articles would be appropriate - unless someone has an alternative notion.

Last name

edit

Celebrities often do not change names when they marry. This subject recently married, but unless there are sources saying she intends to go by a new name publicly, we should stick with the name most known by. Semi-prot may be removed if reliable sources demonstrate she intends to go by a new name for her public persona. Gimmetoo (talk) 12:12, 28 July 2012 (UTC)Reply

Some celebrities legally change names but retain their former "stage name". While [1] (mentioned in an edit summary) does not directly say public name, it's enough for me to cancel semi (as semi is not working and full seems too much). Gimmetoo (talk) 06:37, 29 July 2012 (UTC)Reply
Stick with original name unless it overwhelmingly becomes the most commonly use name for her.87.114.21.104 (talk) 17:10, 9 August 2012 (UTC)Reply
The sensible celebrities maintain their professional name (Elizabeth Taylor, Katie Holmes, Raquel Welch (now 4th marriage)) that they become known for. The official Saturdays site still says Wiseman. Nasnema  Chat  00:05, 17 September 2012 (UTC)Reply

Rochelle WisemanRochelle Humes – Rochelle herself and the media now refer to her under her married name. The following links are references, including a self-reference.

Oppose. It's a similar scenario with Lily Allen, or should I say Lily Rose Cooper? Unreal7 (talk) 00:33, 8 December 2012 (UTC)Reply

Note: Not really. More like Victoria Beckham. Rochelle was never a solo artist, she was just a member of a girl group. Therefore, she really doesn't have that much of a name for herself. Statυs (talk) 03:40, 11 December 2012 (UTC)Reply
Note: Or, may I argue, a similar situation to Cheryl Cole? Both girls were in girl groups with no releases to their name when they changed their professional names. Rochelle has no releases to her name, so I'm not sure if she can be compared to Lily. I helpdןǝɥ I 03:58, 11 December 2012 (UTC)Reply

WP:COMMONNAME

edit

I am confused by the move. What is the singer's common name? You are meant to provide evidence to support the common name. There was hardly any form of discussion either. She was on a TV talent show when I was a child and she was not name Humes then. She obviously won and while in SCJ/SC8 she was never referred to as Humes. What about when I Dream was on TV or they released an album. When she presented Sunday morning TV, her name was not Humes. As the a member of the Saturdays she was not known as Humes until recently. I think it just seems like recentism.Rain the 1 13:54, 14 July 2013 (UTC)Reply
