POV
editThe level of musicianship and entertainment on this album is extremely high, with long adventurous guitar and bass solos, fast paced rhythms and amusing lyrics. There are versions considered outstanding on this album, including "Sweet Jane" and "Lady Day".
Isn't this POV?
- Possibly, but it's true. OK i don't know about amusing lyrics, and Lady Day's not the one to impress me, but "I approve (the rest of) this message". --Jerome Potts (talk) 02:29, 17 February 2008 (UTC)
Fair use rationale for Image:RocknRollAnimal.jpg
editImage:RocknRollAnimal.jpg is being used on this article. I notice the image page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is no explanation or rationale as to why its use in this Wikipedia article constitutes fair use. In addition to the boilerplate fair use template, you must also write out on the image description page a specific explanation or rationale for why using this image in each article is consistent with fair use.
Please go to the image description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale. Using one of the templates at Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to insure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page.
If there is other other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on the other images used on this page. Note that any fair use images uploaded after 4 May, 2006, and lacking such an explanation will be deleted one week after they have been uploaded, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you.BetacommandBot 04:37, 6 June 2007 (UTC)
Track Listing
editSince this album came out in the mid 1970s, long before CDs, shouldn't the track listing show a Side 1 and Side 2? Jtyroler (talk) 07:32, 17 January 2013 (UTC)

Rock 'n' Roll Animal → Rock n Roll Animal – The name on the cover, the LP labels, the CD reissue has always been Rock lower case n no punctuation Roll Animal. Ashley Pomeroy (talk) 14:04, 23 September 2017 (UTC)--Relisting. — Zawl 11:43, 30 September 2017 (UTC)
- Oppose – Looking at the cited sources, it appears to me that about half use the two apostrophes, indicating the contraction of "and", while the other half includes some with just one apostrophe before, some with one apostrophe after, and some with no apostrophe, indicating general uncertainty of what the title is, how it should be styled, or what it means. I think sticking with the common meaningful styling is probably just fine here. Dicklyon (talk) 23:57, 23 September 2017 (UTC)
- Oppose really we should have a guideline to always spell middle 'n' as 'n', that's what it is. In ictu oculi (talk) 11:57, 30 September 2017 (UTC)
