Change his name to Rodrigo Possebon from Roderigo

I tried to but it says that you cannot move the article to Rodrigo Possebon because it is protected. Weird. ManUtd.com lists his name as Rodrigo so we are displaying incorrect information here. --Tocino 19:00, 17 August 2008 (UTC)Reply
Yes, Rodrigo Possebon was made protected due to people creating the article before it was supposed to be created. I'll send a message to an admin to get this page moved there. – PeeJay 19:38, 17 August 2008 (UTC)Reply

Could someone please input his Brazilian league stats; it's embarassing for a United player to be so poorly sourced.  CorleoneSerpicoMontana  10:05, 25 September 2008 (UTC)Reply

If we knew where to find said stats, they would surely be there already. But we don't. – PeeJay 10:39, 25 September 2008 (UTC)Reply

Rodrigo Possebon has committed his international future to Italy

edit

Rodrigo was called into the Italy squad last week and is now an Italian footballer player, not Brazilian. Here is my source: http://www.tribalfootball.com/man-utd-brazilian-kid-possebon-explains-italy-decision-239820 This is the actual article: Manchester United midfielder Rodrigo Possebon has committed his international future to Italy. The Brazilian carries an Italian passport and was called into the Italy U20 squad last week. "I'm very happy with the news of this selection. From the moment I got the Italian passport I knew this was what I wanted. It is even a way of saying thanks to the country that gave me the opportunity to play in Europe and in Manchester. "I will grab it with both hands and give all of me. Italy was the country that has recognized my work and I do not believe in looking back ," said Possebon. —Preceding unsigned comment added by Macdim (talkcontribs) 14:32, 21 April 2009 (UTC)Reply

Actually, it should be observed that he can't speak any italian, as born and raised in Brazil. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 189.97.230.188 (talk) 19:28, 27 May 2009 (UTC)Reply
And you know this for a fact, do you? Did you ask Rodrigo Possebon whether he can speak any Italian? Unless you can source your claims, please don't come on here and spout claptrap. – PeeJay 22:32, 27 May 2009 (UTC)Reply
In theory, he can switch back to Brazil or even switch to British, until he made his debut for a senior national team in official match (non-friendly). Matthew_hk tc 19:05, 1 July 2009 (UTC)Reply
This is quite correct, but certainly for the time being, Possebon's sporting nationality is Italian. – PeeJay 21:30, 1 July 2009 (UTC)Reply
