The date that Roy Matsumoto received the Congressional Gold Medal is incorrect.
editThe Congressional Gold Medal was awarded on October 8, 2010 (see your own article) to the Japanese Americans who served in World War II in the 442nd Regiment, 100th Infantry Battalion and the Military Intelligence Service (MIS) (as translators and interrogators dealing with captured Japanese soldier and Japanese radio transmissions). - From my reading, the Congressional Gold Medal was approved by Congress in October of 2010, but was not presented until 2011. See the following link for details.—Myasuda (talk) 23:45, 30 May 2020 (UTC)
