editOf course, if Ruga and Rugila are indeed the same person, as it seems, the two articles should be merged. (Note that, right now, the best description is found in the disambiguation page Rua.) Pasquale 22:39, 7 March 2006 (UTC)
- Yes, it is just different spellings offered by the Latin and Byzantine writers of the same name. The articles should be merged. User:Abou Ben Adhem suggested it back in January but looks like he never followed up with the actual merge. --Stacey Doljack Borsody 23:09, 7 March 2006 (UTC)
- Actually, I was waiting to see if there was a consensus as to which name it should be merged under. E. A. Thompson's The Huns has him indexed under "Rua"; Maenchen-Helfen's "World of the Huns" has him indexed under "Ruga". On the other hand, "Rugila" seems less ambiguous—Google searches for the first two names yield few hits relevant to the Hun king, but the results for "Rugila" are almost all relevant. --Abou 07:18, 8 March 2006 (UTC)
Just go with "Rugila" as the article title and mention that he's also known as "ruga" and "rua" in that article. Get rid of this one, it's the same man as Rugila.

Merge - since they are the same person. ThreeBlindMice 22:56, 11 May 2006 (UTC)
