Pronunciation of last name
editIn Colin and Samir interviews, they have said his surname as Tray-han but a MrBeast interview he said Tra-han (like tra-la-la). It would be nice to include pronunciation if someone can source a video where Ryan says it himself. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 47.180.129.61 (talk) 00:48, 13 August 2024 (UTC)
Changing variant of English used
editHey @Roc0ast3r - thanks for your work updating the citation style; I haven't had time to get around to fixing up this article since I wrote it. I should mention though, that you changed the English style to American English without asking anyone? I (a Brit) started and wrote the vast majority of the prose here, in, as you'd expect, British English. I get that most of the readers here will be Americans, but you should at least get consensus before switching it! I won't start an edit war switching it back, but for future reference, please put a note on the talk page first. Frzzl talk; contribs 12:11, 19 August 2023 (UTC)
- Hey there! I changed the English variety to American mainly because Trahan himself was born and raised, and still lives, in the United States. And as per MOS:TIES,
An article on a topic that has strong ties to a particular English-speaking nation should use the [..] English of that nation.
. Although, I definitely should've let y'all know before switching it over. My apologies. RONIN 14:11, 19 August 2023 (UTC)
New images
editHello @Rooves 13! I saw your edit changing the image on the article - the new one is definitely a lot better than the old one! However, it looks like it came from the interview with Anthony Padilla, so I need to check if you have a license to use it, or we have to switch it back. Do you have anything just to make sure that we're allowed to use the picture? Frzzl talk; contribs 23:06, 19 August 2023 (UTC)
That picture choice is atrocious
editRyan doesn't even have face tattoos. You're trying to smear him. Knock it off. 47.205.68.181 (talk) 11:03, 11 January 2024 (UTC)
- I can assure you that we're not trying a smear campaign here; however, I'd like to invite you to find a clear image of Trahan under a Creative Commons license - I spent about half an hour last week trawling YouTube and search results for one, and I'm yet to find one. I'd be delighted to "knock it off" as soon as there's a better alternative; the picture right now is indeed awful. Frzzl talk; contribs 16:45, 11 January 2024 (UTC)

- looking at the photo's credits, it appears any photo can be used from youtube as long as it credits the video

Place of birth
editIn this video by him, at timestamp 11:27, he says he was born in Sugar Land, Texas, which contradicts the current info in the infobox. BhamBoi (talk) 05:52, 18 March 2024 (UTC)
