Removed "Despite being a made-for-TV release it is widely regarded as one of the greatest films ever made." because there is no reference and it has a 2.7/10 on IMDB out of 201 votes. I'm sure there's more wiki reasons to remove this line. --Joseph

I can think of another reason ;). I just had to add the similarities to Wolfenstein because they were just too obvious; I've never even played the games, but even I couldn't miss that. I thought about noting the similarities to the Mutant Chronicles' Necromutants and the Doomtrooper game, but that would make the section too cluttered, so I just went with the obvious. -- Noclevername 16:30, 20 January 2007 (UTC)

Naming

Is it just me, or do the current names seem severely juvenile? "Cool Sniper Guy", "Nervous Guy"....they both sound bad. We have the names listed below, perhaps someone could change them to their correct names. Mastrchf91 02:32, 14 April 2007 (UTC)

...Wow. I never realized how unprofessional it sounded. Direct quote from article: "[...]"Cool Sniper Guy", "English Bomb Guy", "English Guy", "Machine Gun Guy" and "American Smart-ass Guy"[...]". Although I do like the movie, I don't have it on DVR or TiVo (Heck, I don't have either) nor DVD, if they even released it, so I can't watch parts and correct it.

Though 'fan phrases' are used, one point is made in the sixth paragraph of the "Plot" subsection. Direct quote from article: "The good guys, meanwhile, find a tank, which is oddly a Soviet T-34 tank piloted by Germans.". That's a nice catch by the writer. during the German's initial push into the Soviet Union, they captured a great deal of Soviet equipment, including tanks, before getting bogged down...though it is somewhat ambiguous that a captured t-34 appears in France, near the Western Front, instead of on the Eastern Front...it is Science Fiction, though, so artistic license definetely applies Omnipresentgnome (talk) 00:48, 20 June 2008 (UTC)
