Redirect?
editShould this page redirect to Nelumbo nucifera? That is the plant this is referring to is it not? --Judzillah 05:52, 17 April 2006 (UTC)
The article here deals with role of the lotus in Hinduism, Buddhism and Jainism and should be expanded than redirected. --Redtigerxyz Talk 13:00, 15 January 2009 (UTC)
I think not...Both are very technical and maybe a little too technical...didn't even state the meanings!!!!!!!!♥♥♥ — Preceding unsigned comment added by 108.49.100.205 (talk) 23:00, 26 February 2014 (UTC)
Did'ja forget something?
editArticle seems preoccupied with "Eastern" religious symbolism. Did they completely forget about Egyptian mythology which also features the Lotus in its creation myths? Hindus and Buddhists don't have a monopoly on the mythological use of the Lotus.
