origin of sadiya
editThere was a sentence under origins that claimed that Sadiya is the name of the nanny of Prophet Mohd. Couldnt find a ref for this and have removed it. Even if the fact is true, it is anyways unlikely that this led to the naming of this town in Assam. prashanthns (talk) 15:40, 23 April 2009 (UTC)

Khamtis
edit@Safe haven123, you are mistaking Khamtis with Burmese. These are two different events, there wasn't Burmese invasion in Assam before 1817. Provide adequate source for your claims and don't directly go on edit warring, check out WP:CITE. ComparingQuantities (talk) 14:11, 18 April 2023 (UTC)
