Talk:Samaikyandhra Movement

Latest comment: 11 years ago by Vamsisv in topic Support among NRIs

An article about Samaikyandhra Movement must talk about what it espouses and not about what the Telangana Separatist Movement wanted. If some one wants to read about the Telangana movement that person can search for the same and read info about the same. Why should some one talk about Islam when the title of the talk is about Christianity? If the article is not removed or corrected within one week from now, i.e. by 1st November 2011, I shall erase all that is said here and rewrite the article to present the actual facts and perspective of a United Andhra Citizen. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Saasira (talkcontribs) 10:43, 22 October 2011 (UTC)Reply

@Saasira - Appreciate your involvement here and would like to see your presentation of facts. Having said that, T movement and United Andhra movement are not as diverse topics as Islam and Christianity. You should see the United Andhra movement in the context of T movement since it is planning to divide the state. Vamsisv (talk) 08:58, 31 October 2011 (UTC)Reply

Hi, They are a lot of flaws in this article. This article seems to be more pro -Telanaga written by a telanganite. All the facts are not true about this article. Try to correct this article.Other wise it questions the credibility of Wikipedia Thanks, An Indian — Preceding unsigned comment added by 125.21.51.18 (talk) 13:26, 10 November 2011 (UTC) hai, this is looking like written by a telangna sympathist. so please try to correct it and write only correct points. otherwise wikepaedia neutrality will have a problemReply

Support among NRIs

edit

SA movement does not have Telangana people support either in India or among in NRIs. There is clear region wise split in AP and among Telugu NRIs. Please make sure the section reflect the reality. This link show the support Telangana movement have among Telangana NRIs. If Telangana NRIs supporting Telangana movement means they are opposing SA movement. There are links I provided which says Telugus cutting across regional lines have protested in Canada & Australia. Hyderabad MLAs oppose T seperation - so by your logic they support SA movement. Should we highlight that then in the T movement article? Vamsisv (talk) 03:17, 10 August 2013 (UTC)Reply
Most people in Seemandhra Support for SA. Most people in Telangana support Telangana. NRIs of Seemandhra and Telangana regions support SA and Telangana respectively. Region wise division in AP is reflect among NRIs too. Dont' you agree? I all I am saying is don't say that SA movement have support of all NRIs (Both Telangana and Seemandhra). If you say that its a lie. If you don't want tell the truth just remove the whole section. I can also put a section Telangana movement saying the all NRIs support Telangana by quoting single news articles(I have news articles too where some Andhra leaders support Telangana state). We both know where the truth lies. Lets be honest. We already mentioned that MIM and some other Hyderabad leaders dont support Telangana.Ramcrk (talk) 03:36, 10 August 2013 (UTC)Reply
I'm not saying SA movement has support from all NRIs. I have only mentioned it as part of the source which says so. I didn't generalize. already in the same section i have mentioned that T NRIs have protested at some events. That should be enough to show the split. If you want to add a section to T movement showing NRI support I dont mind as long as we also have a section which shows that it lacks support in Hyderabad.
