The request to rename this article to Sambalpuri drama has been carried out. |
Kosli drama → Sambalpuri drama – Kosli is an recently popularized term by some political parities. The concerned language page is also moved to Sambalpuri Language Shiti (talk) 11:48, 6 August 2020 (UTC)—Relisting. —usernamekiran (talk) 20:07, 13 August 2020 (UTC)
- I support the move. It's a vandalism. Seems like they are changing everything from sambalpuri to koshali. --Jnanaranjan Sahu (ଜ୍ଞାନ) talk 12:44, 6 August 2020 (UTC)
- Comment: All of the refs in the article refer to it as Kosli, can either of your provide references or data to prove that these dramas are indeed generally referred to as Sambalpuri. @Jnanaranjan sahu: Please read what WP:VANDALISM is before labelling anything as such, this article was started with the current name; you might be referring to WP:POVPUSH but that isn't apparent here. - relisting comment: @Jnanaranjan sahu and ଶିତିକଣ୍ଠ ଦାଶ: Kindly respond to Gotitbro's query. Now I am thinking about undoing my move of Sambalpuri films, and relisting that discussion as well. Regards, —usernamekiran (talk) 20:07, 13 August 2020 (UTC)
- @Usernamekiran: That move appears to be fine, references in the article do list the films as such (even refs in the individual film articles as well). Gotitbro (talk) 20:21, 13 August 2020 (UTC)
- Hello @Gotitbro:, @Usernamekiran: Please allow me some time, I am on the move. I will be adding more info regarding my support. Thanks --Jnanaranjan Sahu (ଜ୍ଞାନ) talk 04:30, 14 August 2020 (UTC)

When you read the article you can simply say this article is about Sambalpuri Drama as it describes about the same. I have checked the references and they have very less points to define the term Drama. However Koshli Natbandi is the name of an event where the Sambalpuri Drama is organised. While the lack of references leading to the notability of the article. I found some of the links that are related. Some of them are trustable news websites and some of them may not be very popular. Here are some.

(As I have told before, I am currently moving and just had a small research) please help fix the article. Thank you both for your time. Jnanaranjan Sahu (ଜ୍ଞାନ) talk 05:09, 14 August 2020 (UTC)
- I'll support the move. Kosli is a recent but a controversial term. A pure propaganda by some local politician. You can read about the language in the survey Sambalpuri of Orissa, India. Also read more on the controversy here: Sambalpuri Language.--snip (talk) 16:22, 18 August 2020 (UTC)
- The problem is about the term "Kosli". If the language is Sambalpuri, then how the drama associated with this can be Kosli? The citations in the article need a fix. Many citations were already provided by Jnana.--snip (talk) 16:34, 18 August 2020 (UTC)
