My deletion of Colver's identification as "one of the first pioneers of Oregon"--which I corrected to "Southern Oregon"--was reverted. Let me explain. Oregon Territory's first white settlers arrived forty years before Sam, which leaves him out as "one of the first." He was, however, one of the first pioneers of Southern Oregon. I've changed my edit to say that Sam Colver was "a pioneer of Oregon." Hope that's more acceptable. Bentruwe (talk) 23:01, 9 September 2018 (UTC)Reply
