i do not understand why this page will be deleted, i have creasted this page about an island i visited in costa rica, can you please explain.—Preceding unsigned comment added by Miles86 (talkcontribs) .

Well, you've craeted the same article several times, in which case we have it at one place and keep the other as redirect. The tag was actually for merging the edit histories, but this is not yet really necessary, because you're the author of all. So where shall it be, taking into account WP:NAME?--Tikiwont (talk) 11:54, 3 October 2008 (UTC)Reply
This name here seems to be the most common one in English, so the others should redirect here. If I get that wrong we can still reverse i but will then indeed need to use the move option as I've meanwhile edited this version here.--Tikiwont (talk) 12:03, 3 October 2008 (UTC)Reply

wild life refuge

edit

Planetware is not a reliable source nor are blogs. As far as I see this is rather as a wild life refuge than a national park and should be in Category:Nature reserves in Costa Rica.--Tikiwont (talk) 12:48, 3 October 2008 (UTC)Reply

yes, it's a wild life refuge, MINAET it's already trying to repopulate the island again with mammals like white-tail deers, wild pigs, and another species which were lost by the hunters. --Shamhain (talk) 05:44, 21 April 2009 (UTC)Reply

Page Lifted

edit

This article seems to be lifted almost word-for-word from http://www.samanthatours.com/San_Lucas_Prison.html which is included in the sources. I wonder if this isn't a plant from Samantha Tours. When I have a chance, I'll look into the Wiki rules or try to rewrite the page and delete the commercial links. —Preceding unsigned comment added by Mvblair (talkcontribs) 00:07, 7 August 2009 (UTC)Reply

Page Rewrite

edit

Parts of this page were so poorly written that I decided to rewrite it. I took Tikiwont and Shamhain's suggestions and removed most of the Planetware references. I also removed the sections that were questionably "lifted" from the Samantha Tours website. Then, I found new sources for the information and included some new tidbits that I found around the net. I still need to format the references correctly. Mvblair (talk) 17:45, 20 August 2009 (UTC)Reply
