I requested a citation be added to the claim that Schutzpolizei "Policemen had to have previous military service, good physical and mental health, be of Aryan descent, be members of the Nazi Party and also members of the SS." While the SS and various police organizations were heavily intertwined, this claim is not supported by the higher formation Ordnungspolizei entry and specifically refuted by secondary sources such as Browning's "Ordinary Men".
