A fact from Selvarasa Pathmanathan appeared on Wikipedia's Main Page in the Did you know column on 15 September 2007. The text of the entry was as follows:

lolwut???
editHe is the current leader of LTTE, AND he is imprisoned, am I the only one that sees that contradictory? It could be just me, but I find quite unrrealistic that the authorities that held him imprisoned let him "lead" the LTTE, unless, of course, he exchanges sexual favours for a cell phone... lmao —Preceding unsigned comment added by 157.88.227.176 (talk) 16:56, 20 July 2010 (UTC)
Negative quality of the article
editThe whole article and the several imputations do smack of one sided propaganda. No mention of what may have happened to Mr.Padmanabha after he was arrested is there. Moreover, the photo given is not a recent one and can even be said to be of a negative kind.
As to this quote:
"Did you know ...that Kumaran Pathmanadan, former chief procurer of arms for the Tamil Tigers rebel group, used over 200 passports and at least 23 pseudonyms to evade Interpol, CIA and MI-5?"
What kind of a nonsense writing is this? He was only a freedom fighter, fighting against an uncivilised nation. Mr. Padmanana was not fighting with the British or with the US. The quote gives this wrong impression. He was evading only the Sri Lankan forces. --Ved from Victoria Institutions (talk) 08:41, 2 December 2010 (UTC)
