Title
editWhy the change? What was so wrong with the old title? WikiNameBaks (talk) 14:42, 19 August 2016 (UTC)
- It was no "Battle of Kosovo".--Zoupan 19:18, 1 October 2016 (UTC)
Confusing article
editThe article is, at the very least, confusing. Namely, it states that Emperor Uroš assembled a coalition of loyal nobles in order to defend his throne from Mrnjavčević family. However, in the battle aftermat section, it turns out that loyal nobility managed to capture the Emperor?? Also, it says that Prince Lazar provided majority of forces of the New Nobility, while Nikola Altomanović, who was at war against Bosnia at the time, provided only small part of his troops. Then, Lazar retreated and left Altomanović to fight on his own against Mrnjavčevićs. Of course, he lost, but, apparently, with only minor losses (even though he was wounded in the battle)... — Preceding unsigned comment added by 165.225.72.74 (talk) 07:36, 18 June 2018 (UTC)
Large part of the article is improved upon.
- Yes, Emperor Uroš V's coalition proved weaker than that of the Mrnjavčević brothers, and he was captured in this battle.
- Don't get confused - it was Uroš, Altomanović and Hrebeljanović against the Mrnjavčevići.
- Altomanović was 'left hanging' by Hrebeljanović, as the Mrnjavčevići had a far superior army. Uroš was captured, and Altoman was injured, even presumed dead for a while. He managed to retreat. The article was slightly confusing earlier. Lazarus 92 (talk) 01:24, 19 March 2019 (UTC)
