Avoiding deletion nominations

Hello Deathlibrarian. For future reference, you can create articles as drafts (by titling the article Draft:[Article title] when you create it). Drafts are much less likely to be tagged for speedy deletion (unless they contain copyright-violating material, are attack pages or blatant hoaxes, etc.) because it is more obvious to new page patrollers that the page is actively being worked on. I typically create new articles first as drafts or in my user sandbox, and only move the page to "mainspace" once I have cited at least three sources that establish my subject's notability. —GrammarFascist contribstalk 03:55, 16 August 2017 (UTC)Reply
