Crown vrs Dulux paint
editSome confusion with recent edits - the single was released in 1985 and had 'music for the CROWN paint commercial' printed on the sleeve. However, the YouTube clip from 1989 shows that the music was used for DULUX paints. I've no idea whether one company is the same as the other, but I think if someone could work out the history of the advert and the song, we could correct this confusing state of affairs.
As it is, it's possibly wrong that the article reads "..was used in the UK as the theme to the Dulux Paint commercial in 1985.." when we only know that:-
1. The single was released in 1985 and states it was for the 'Crown' commercial.
2. We have a clip from 1989 which shows it was used in the 'Dulux' commercial.

The music in the You tube video supplied is most definately NOT the shades track. The music from the single was for the crown paint advert not for dulux. The advert in question featured the United Kingdom Symphony Orchestra performing the single in brightly coloured suits as seen on the sleave of the record. There were no lyrics to the music as it was entirely orchestral.
The record was released on the food for thought label in 1985 and has the catalogue number YUM 108 —Preceding unsigned comment added by 81.153.36.103 (talk) 23:40, 12 February 2009 (UTC)
