The Water

- Can you be more specific about what water reeked of sulfur? I assume not the surrounding saltwater, and, AFAIK, all tap water is from individual private wells (with the possible exception(s) of one or more of the dense communities in the northwest third of the island sharing community wells), so it's probably a highly localized, temporary, and/or intermittent problem. The water from a small spring on our family property on the island doesn't have a noticeable odor. Sohelpme 19:29, 19 May 2007 (UTC)
