Hi! In Korean Naming conventions proper names are sometimes excluded from the general romanization if they use a different one in English. This author writes her name in English as Shin Kyung-sook - as seen in interviews, book covers, etc. Suzusan (talk) 15:31, 30 December 2022 (UTC)Reply

I'm moving the article back to Shin Kyung-sook, which is the internationally used spelling of the author's name. This "issue" with Korean names was raised before when the Kim Hyesoon's name (which was unilaterally moved to Kim Hyesun by the same user who did the move here). In that discussion, the recommendation was to keep the internationally used name. That is the rule I'm applying here. Suzusan (talk) 15:47, 30 December 2022 (UTC)Reply
