The apple town of Kashmir
editAn IP editor removed "Shopian is also known as the 'Apple Town' of Kashmir" at 11:36, 4 September 2020. I did a search on Google and found sources that said that Sopore was "Kashmir’s apple town":
- The Scroll (14 September 2019) In Kashmir’s apple town, fruit growers are caught between government and gunmen,
- Kashmir Unheard (22 June 2016) Authorities Starve Poor Inhabitants of this locality in Apple town of Kashmir,
- Rediff News (9 February 2010) Kashmir's apple town turns terror haven.
Evidently the IP editor is right.-- Toddy1 (talk) 12:14, 4 September 2020 (UTC)
