Clean-up tag
editI added the clean-up tag, haven't seen the show so don't feel qualified to clarify & fix the things which are wrong. A lot in the article seems strange grammar-wise and possibly a bit more info than I think is needed in a character article, parts of it almost read like it's telling a story, but this is the most glaring of what I'm talking about; He after a light joke, Nathan talks about his father's depression and death.
After spending the night together, Simone and Peter briefly discuss the previous night in the fourth episode. They are interrupted by a knock at Peter's door, who happens to be Nathan.
Several days later, Simone comes by Peter's with the news about of her father. She says he suddenly awoke to tell her of how flew through the air Peter, then slowly passed away. Number36 01:48, 10 November 2006 (UTC)
I revised Simone's bio, cutting out all the fat and rewrote much of the rest. Primogen 22:48, 11 November 2006 (UTC)
- Cheers, good job, I took the clean-up tag down (which I assume I'm okay to do, as I put it up.)Number36 04:29, 13 November 2006 (UTC)
Movement
editI feel Simone should be moved to the minor characters page. She has no powers, and has not appeared in almost half the episodes. I feel her character served as a portal for Peter to discover his power but now she is done.— Preceding unsigned comment added by 69.250.171.91 (talk • contribs) 22:17, November 30, 2006
- I'm sure the producers have a reason for listing her as a main character on NBC's official Heroes site and not, say, Ando or Eden. I think that moving her would be second-guessing the creator of the show. Primogen 22:30, 30 November 2006 (UTC)
- Furthormore, even "minor" characters can have separate articles. Ace Class Shadow; My talk. 23:35, 30 November 2006 (UTC)
- True, but now that you mention it Ando should probably get a page soon. I might start that later but feel free to do it if you want to and I don't get to it in time.
I read in an interview with Tawny Cypress she said that her character's story will heat up in the next part of the arc. She's billed in the opening credits, which automatically makes her a major character, even though Ando has appeared in more episodes (11) then she has (7). --Stabbey 02:50, 21 December 2006 (UTC)
I vote to move Simone to the minor characters section. At least for the time being. With the space freed up on the character template, we can put in Ted Sprauge, as it seems that he will have an increasing role in the saga.--Piemanmoo 07:22, 23 January 2007 (UTC)
- The only people who get to vote are the producers of the show. Tawny Cypress is a main cast member, regardless of how many episodes she appears in or how significant her character's role appears to be. It's not our role as editors to judge these things. --ΨΦorg 19:19, 23 January 2007 (UTC)
Death?
editCurrently there is a bit of contradiction on the page. Her status is listed as killed, yet the text of the article lists her as possibly alive. There should be some sort of uniformity. Elefuntboy 07:53, 20 February 2007 (UTC)
- I've updated the article with references. USA Today reported the Simone did die, but that this is not the last appearance of Simone. Therefore, folks, please do not put "Unexpected" in the Departure field of the infobox. Also, if someone has a better title for the "Production" header where the behind-the-scene info is written, be WP:BOLD and replace it because my brain didn't know what to put there. - fmmarianicolon | Talk 02:53, 21 February 2007 (UTC)
Speculation
editI agree we should mention the fact that Simone is apparently alive, but would people please stop speculating as to what her powers might be? Right now, saying she might be able to clone herself when I don't believe we have any proof, is pure speculation, and doesn't belong in the article. Thanks. --Arwen undomiel 23:27, 28 February 2007 (UTC)
It has been confirmed that she will be appearing in the last episode, as well as Charles. But what sources suggest that her character is actually alive? Certainly none that I've seen. As far as I see it the only acceptable information to add is that the actress has been casted, along with Charles Deveaux, to appear in the finale. 65.244.227.194 03:10, 10 May 2007 (UTC)
Propose Move to "List of characters in Heroes"
editIs there any reason we are keeping this as a separate article? I propose we move it to the List of characters in Heroes and delete the page. Is there anywhere we can post guidelines for why "Simone" has a stand alone article and "Tracy" doesn't? We need to get that part straight. Padillah (talk) 18:31, 10 February 2009 (UTC)
- IIRC, the character of Tracy got caught up in the "standalone or with Niki" article debate. Keep in mind that Simone is a main character. If the page is redirected, we will have to completely reformat how we present the main characters at the list page. Currently, it is a bit of a mess - there is a table instead of a brief summary for each main character, and Tracy redirects to a section under "other" (which is not appropriate). --Ckatzchatspy 18:44, 10 February 2009 (UTC)
