editI see two instances found in the article where notability may be established here. The first is the fact that this organization is evidently prominent enough in the Sitka community to where it was entrusted with the property of the former Sheldon Jackson College, a site certainly as important to Sitka's history as better-known landmarks in the center of town such as St. Michael's Cathedral and the Pioneer Home. I'm not as convinced about the NEA and presidental awards, but it does also potentially speak to notability as well.
The only rationale given is a boilerplate "no evidence of notability". I get the impression that this is based on the dead links in the refs, combined with the fact that the individuals who worked to build this article (including providing those refs) didn't bother to stick around long enough to further improve or update it, or even defend it from the deletionist purges currently going on. You know, I really hope none of that is correct, because it comes across as a pretty massive AGF violation in any case. RadioKAOS / Talk to me, Billy / Transmissions 16:30, 21 April 2014 (UTC)
- I tend to disagree, the only thing that is mildy notable is "In 2005, was selected by the National Endowment for the Arts as one of 25 exceptional summer arts programs in the country." and that is backed up by a goverment site announcing an award (I assume, the link is dead), not a WP:THIRDPARTY source discussing the camp and the award, if this camp is truly notable that should be easy to find.
