Post-promotion hook changes for this nom will be logged at Template talk:Did you know nominations/Skating technique and influence of Johnny Weir; consider watching this nomination, if it is successful, until the hook appears on the Main Page.
- Unfortunately, I will not have the time to do a full review, but I wanted to point out that the target article should be linked in the hook (and put in bold). Also, the ALT hook does not really make sense on its own (i.e. it doesn't even name Weir). Aoba47 (talk) 21:48, 14 February 2023 (UTC)
- Oops, sorry about that. Fixed now, thanks for catching it. Christine (Figureskatingfan) (talk) 22:58, 14 February 2023 (UTC)
- Did you adjust any of the hooks to include a link to the targeted article? If so, I am not seeing it on my end. Aoba47 (talk) 23:25, 14 February 2023 (UTC)
- Sorry for the misunderstanding; link in both hooks present now. Christine (Figureskatingfan) (talk) 04:20, 15 February 2023 (UTC)

- Regrettably, this article does not qualify for DYK. Forked articles can only be nominated if the material in the article was new to the original article within the past seven days prior to the fork being done, or if new material has been added to the article such that it is a 5x expansion of the pre-existing material, neither of which applies here. (Please see WP:DYKSG#F8.) One possibility for future DYK qualification is if the article should be nominated as a Good article and pass; it could then be nominated within seven days of passage. - Okay, thanks for the consideration. I probably will nominate Johnny Weir, since it just passed to GA. Christine (Figureskatingfan) (talk) 20:55, 18 February 2023 (UTC)
- Congratulations having been successful with the GA nomination for Weir. Christine, just be aware that you need to nominate within seven days of the article passing. Schwede66 03:33, 19 February 2023 (UTC)
