Skeksis: Endangered Bird?

From the article on May 22, 2010: "The Skeksis are an endangered species of bird of which none remain in the wild and only ten in captivity. Recently one was born at the Franklin Park Zoo in New Zealand.[1] A parody of the birds act as the main villains in the 1982 fantasy film The Dark Crystal, its companion book The World of The Dark Crystal and the TokyoPop prequel Legends of the Dark Crystal."

Image of Skeksis

I added a free image of the Skeksis, only to find a commented-out note left behind by the ImageRemovalBot: "Deleted image removed: [[:File:img skeksis.jpg|thumb|right| Skeksis (specifically skekUng the Garthim Master) on permanent display at Center for Puppetry Arts in Atlanta, GA]], because the image had been deleted, and for the record, it's been deleted twice. I can only assume it was uploaded without proper sourcing and was treated as a fair-use image. In fact, the original (non-derivative) image was licensed properly on Flickr, so I uploaded it to Commons where it should be approved shortly after I post this message. My message here is simply to serve as an explanation for anyone surprised to see a familiar image re-appear (yet again). – Kerαunoςcopia^◁_galaxies 08:46, 20 February 2013 (UTC)
