The result of the move request was: moved. Other proposed title created as a redirect. Jenks24 (talk) 12:58, 4 April 2013 (UTC)
Skyview High School (Soldotna, Alaska) → Skyview High School (Alaska) – 1) While the school's postal address may indicate to some that the school is in Soldotna, it is actually outside of Soldotna city limits, instead located in the adjacent CDP of Kalifornsky. It may be misleading in a certain sense to state that the school is in Soldotna. 2) The proposed new title appears to be more in line with convention. - Move to Skyview High School (Kalifornsky, Alaska) which, I believe would follow the established convention for school disambiguation. Vegaswikian (talk) 02:36, 27 March 2013 (UTC)
- Is there an established convention for school disambiguation, though? See Wikipedia:Naming conventions (schools). Look at Category:Public high schools in Alaska, where of the eight schools with disambigutors, five are by state alone. WP:NC(USS) might be a failed proposal, but I think it's most in line with the basic precepts of WP:AT. If the state alone is sufficient for disambiguation, it's most suitable for the title. Support as proposed. --BDD (talk) 17:17, 2 April 2013 (UTC)
