The Synopsis
editDoes this article really require a blow-by-blow of the plot? It's a 20 minute pornographic film and I don't really think that being explicit about what happens improves the encyclopedia. Unless anyone deeply objects, I'm going to trim that section down.--Jorm (talk) 00:15, 22 July 2014 (UTC)
Apogee
edit"Apogee" means the highest point in an objects orbit around the earth. "Apotheosis" means "the perfect form or example of something" and Merriam-Webster give this example "the apotheosis of Hollywood glamour" which is exactly what Thomas Waugh meant to say. Were the copy editors asleep at the journal Sexuallities. That is what their job is—to find close but wrong words. Waugh meant to write "the apotheosis of the American stag tradition" and his editor did not catch it. Nick Beeson (talk) 11:58, 11 April 2018 (UTC)
