Cost overrun?

We currently write: Son of Zorro was budgeted at $156,745 although the final negative cost was $119,343 (a $10,022, or 6.8%, overspend). It was the cheapest Republic serial of 1947. My naive reading is that this was a an underspending of nearly $35,000 dollars. Can somebody with access to the source check this? --Stephan Schulz (talk) 20:02, 1 July 2024 (UTC)Reply
